So Sigh and Unexpect was pretty good. Got there an hour before doors, but not that it mattered...when the doors opened there were only 5 people on line.

First band that played was this North Virginian band called Ecliptic. There could have been many better bands that played instead of them, but there also could have been many worse bands. They were decent enough...some sort of faux black metal.

Then Unexpect came on, actually got a decently long set, and absolutely destroyed everyone else. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. It was basically like they were playing for us in the front row, since there were a bunch of repeat people from when they played in January.

Their setlist was:

In Velvet Coffins They Slept (SO GOOD)
The Fall of Arthrone

Fantastic.

Then Sigh came on and were kinda disappointing. They played way too short of a set and the sound was really muddy...Mirai's keyboards, the backing loops, the guitar and the sax were not turned up enough. All I could hear was bass, drums and vocals. They did play the three songs I wanted though, Introius, Me Devil, and Inked In Blood. That, and their sax/backing vocalist girl is absolutely gorgeous. Came out in this little leather bra and leather miniskirt. Every guy in the front row had a camera up at one point or another.

Managed to talk to a few people from Unexpect and got my ticket signed after the show. They're hella nice people.

tl;dr

yeah Unexpect had a good set-list, but I was disappointed Feasting Fools wasn't apart of it

anyways, I woke up in the middle of the night with the craziest dry mouth of all time, ****ing sucked. Being sick sucks

waking up with a numb arm because you were sleeping on it is worse

yeah that's happend a few times to me this summer, definitely not as bad
