I'm sooo tired but I can't fucking sleep. You guys ever have that happen?

Tyler 01-10-2008 03:03 AM

Right now. And I have to be up in four hours for nine hours of lectures.

Josh D. 01-10-2008 03:03 AM

Currently experiencing it. Work in an hour.

Josh D. 01-10-2008 03:04 AM

Sometimes, at home, I run with a slight gimp, but the opposite kind of, so upwards basically, like my heels have been reversed or something. Then I just get jolly.

Valhall 01-10-2008 03:04 AM

Nice. I have to be up at like 9....it's 2 and I probably won't be able to fall asleep until 5, though I'm more tired than that fact states.

i am the robots 01-10-2008 03:08 AM

I'm feeling nice and sleepy, I think I'm gonna go to bed and fall asleep as soon as I put my head on the pillow. :)

Valhall 01-10-2008 03:09 AM

You suck Mappy.

i am the robots 01-10-2008 03:10 AM

Josh D. 01-10-2008 03:11 AM

Once, when I was a young boy, I was playing outside, and I found something I thought to be a fossil.I was going to look for more the next day, but for the time being, I left for my room to examine it. It was great, but it wasn't a fossil. It had the properties of a tomato.

When I woke up the next morning, it was gone.

Nostalgia 01-10-2008 03:12 AM

I don't know. When I left school I did a music recording course and I just finished that last year but it hasn't really led to anything (not that I've really tried). This year I just want to get a job, make some money (for once), and travel maybe.

I have a slight problem, wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm trying to edit a video and design my website. Trouble is, all the software and files are on my external harddrive.

Here's the problem. My brother left yesterday, so I moved my stuff back into his room. I'm not going to be sleeping on the couch and working in the living room all spring. However, even though everything else (besides this damn office chair) works fine, the computer will not acknowledge that the external harddrive has been hooked up to the USB. It won't even make that weird sound effect saying that hardware has been detected. Nothing.

I've tried plugging it into every USB port on the box, and still nothing. I can get at any of my material because it's all on that drive and now my computer won't recognize it.

What do I do?

big80smullet 01-10-2008 09:51 AM

Have you tried connecting the External to a different computer to see if it is the computer or the External having the problem?
