Listin to the clip of the song on that link. Metallica made a song with Ja Rule. they made the music and james sings on it. Big let down :upset: |
What the hell.. I never knew they made a song with Ja Rule.

Heh, random Faith...
That song with Ja Rule was no big deal. Cooperating with rappers is nothing to be ashamed of. That song was kinda catchy. They also seemed to be happy to be playing with Metallica, showing more maturity then you're all right now. |

Oh no, I meant random as in, "Whoa, Faith is randomly in this thread all of a sudden." On another note, this thread has been lacking regulars lately... |
What the ****ing Hell!!!! who did a god **** mother ****ing hip hop tribute to Metallica? Tell me so I can assassinate them!
Ja Rule and DMX did uinfortuantly, it was on the some kind of monster bonus dvd (disc 2) |
Regulars?
There used to be like 10 or 11 of the same people always posting in this thread. it was great, but now I think because of vacation and summer a lot of them aren't here...:( Not to say any of the newer members here are bad posters. I don't mean it like that. |
What does everyone think about other covers ppl hav done from metallica like Primus' the Thing That Should Not Be or Sum 41's medly performance of them at the MTV icon awards. One that is sickening to think of is avril lavigne doing Fuel. that just didnt seem right
|
I remember that. Avril sucked, Sum 41 doesn't deserve. Sadly, the best performer was either Staind or Korn
|

Metallica recorded some tracks they put together in like five minutes, and a couple gay rappers walked in and talked to Bob Rock. Metallica probably didn't even talk to Ja Rule about it |
I think you guys are getting way too mad about the icon and rapper stuff. It's just those guys showing that they enjoy Metallica's music, just cause they may have done bad or whatever, it doesn't matter.

what do you mean sadly? Korn and Staind are good bands |
In my opinion I guess, I don't like Staind, and I'm not into rap-metal
|
what about Korn's performance of One. A masterpiece, no doubt, i liked it a lot wen they did it cuz they tuned their guitars down whole step which gave it that nu metal tone but i hated and still hate the noise that Korn's bassist makes wen hes slapping it, it didnt work in this performance
|
I hated that bass sound throughout the entire song
|
Yeah those weird click noises he does. It was an alright performance. I liked metallica's performance the best :D
|
Of COurse.... :p
|
I really like how they played Hit the lights. That was awesome.
|

That is so utterly false. Sum 41 was easily the best performance of the night. |
I liked limp bizkets minus Fred Durst
|
avril lavignes drummer can do double bass, that kinda shocked me.
|

Isn't it Josh Freese. Or was that just one song? |
Ofcourse he could use a double bass pedal. They're probably studio musicians dress as sk8er bois.
