Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Giving this one another shot. |
Keren Ann - Nolita
Very Vashti. Sometimes more folksy. Not bad, on first listen. |
Few things today:
Moskitoo - Drape Big Star - #1 Record Archer Prewitt - Three Deerhoof - Friend Opportunity actually haven't heard Neon Bible yet. I decided a while ago that I'll just wait until I own it. Now I'm waiting for it in the mail. Lame. |
Hold Steady - Boys and Girls in America
I used to think this album and band were trash. Now I'm coming around. Weird. |
yes.
i love "the unwanted things" though.
"bomb repeat bomb" and "a bottle of buckie" are the best tracks on it. |
Phoenix - It's Never Been Like That
I love this band. |
The album is so average, United is where its at.
Brian Jonestown Massacre - Take it from the Man! |
Yeah but "Consolation Prizes" is a really sweet song.
|
Do you guys know a band called The Envy Corps? I got a promo cd with Neon Bible. It sounds pretty good, you should check them out. They've opened for The Killers, and supposedly sound similar, but I haven't really heard The Killers. Maybe I should.

They're playing at a festival that I might attend, plus I should probably listen to them for cultural awareness if nothing else, no? Guillemots - Through the Windowpane This album gets better and better. |
Somebody tell me about an album I'm gonna like.
|
I love Ted Leo to death, but this is way too long and not really good.
Ditto. It has some throwaway songs, but the highlights really stand out. Make Believe - Of Course Strung Out - Live in a Dive |
Liking Weezer and Black Flag recently.
