I imagine Mithras is more their middle era stuff? I just have Alters of Madness so far it's pretty rad.

I do remember listening to Kronos a while ago and not liking it....but I also liked a lot of shitty music back then so I guess I'll give it a try

Yeah, Mithras emulate the sound of later Morbid Angel, especially after David Vincent left. Not my thing really.

Make sure you get Colossal Titan Strife if you get Kronos, the newest album is boring.

They have a new one coming out in 2009.

Another band that I wish was as good as their first album was Blood Rainbow. The second they stopped writing songs about dinosaurs was when I lost interest.

Unanimated's first album is good, it's 1 out of the 2 melodic death metal albums I enjoy. Sacramentum and Dissection are gay ****ing 80's style.

Blood Rainbow are so good. Smelteries Of Damnation was really good, but like deth said, the dinosaur theme in the first album was just fantastic, but the music is really good in both albums.

Maybe I just listen to it, I just ignored it because I'm really that shallow.

idk i like them for the moment. they're a whole lot better than that Autumn Leaves/Garden of Shadows bullshit. the venom cover on their first album helps too.

1st two dissection are engaging when youre drunk, and enjoyable when youre sober/stoned.
