dude, I was thinking about you the other day, where ya been?
Hey man :)
Well, lemme see. I suppose I've been playing Oblivion on my computer for a while, and also I just took something of a break from mx. Just 'cause I wasn't feeling all that great and I needed some time to myself :/ I'm great now though, and this CD is amazing :-D

NP: Liszt - Beethoven's 3rd-first movemet
Metalguitar: Nice purchases man!
Mr. Night V2.0 04-12-2006 11:42 AM
I've never taken a crap at high school in the six years I've spend there, it's just such a nasty thought.

Haha thanks, I try and stick around. I just get phases of good mood/bad mood. Damn angst.
Metal Guitar- thanks for the upload :D I've been listening to it over and over.
Really? I'm glad to hear that. :) That symphony got me into classical in a big way actually. Oh, and I will quote you as Happy, if that's ok.

NP: Liszt - Beethoven's 3rd-2nd movement

PinkFreud 04-12-2006 11:53 AM
So...you weren't conducting yourself in a solo symphony?
Taking five?

I don't know why I can't **** around other people. I think most of it is just that I don't want them to....sense me.

Bartender 04-12-2006 11:58 AM
Chimaira is similar to Lamb Of God... less groove based, higher vocals... they're pretty good.
I remember really liking Down Again, and then getting the album that it's on and being quite disappointed.
I think I might be the only person ever to not like them.
Not quite. I used to dislike them too.

Invicta_Veritas 04-12-2006 12:02 PM

I personally love Chimaira (although I have issues with Pass Out of Existance)......thier EP is awesome, I don't understand how they went from that to thier debut.....

But I love The Impossibility of Reason and Chimaira....those two are beautiful albums.

It's not that I have a problem with the name, I just think of Happy when I see the yellow flashing avatar.
Have you heard anything by Chopin or Horszowski?

Chopin yes, just look. Horszowski is a new name to me though, I know Moszkowski but not Horszowski. Be curious to hear his music though.

NP:Liszt - Beethoven's 9th, first movement

Jev 04-12-2006 12:09 PM

I really like Chopin's stuff also.

Stoic 04-12-2006 12:13 PM

Now that I think of it..."D" sucks as well Jevie

Chopin is awesome. I got into him thanks to Moses's shameless fanboysm :D

Jev 04-12-2006 12:18 PM

ATM 04-12-2006 12:19 PM

Bartender, where you been?

Bartender 04-12-2006 12:24 PM

I'm at home for a month for my Easter holiday, and so am away from my regular, comfortable computer, so I'm not on as much. I've been catching up every few days at the least; just don't have much to post when I do. Did just get some new albums today in the course of visiting a newly opened Borders, though, which is nice.

circlethedrain 04-12-2006 12:43 PM

You know anything by Julian Bream?
anyone see that "your momma" show on MTV?

I think MTV lost any credibility the other shows on it had when they introduced Jackass.
That's a pathetic show, right there.

NP-Sonata Arctica-Letter to dana.

On Bach, This quote from the Legend that was Douglas Adams sums up my opinion on his music perfectly.

"Mozart tells us what it's like to be human, Beethoven tells us what it's like to be Beethoven and Bach tells us what it's like to be the universe"
Wise words indeed.

Shred Danson 04-12-2006 12:50 PM

I don't have MTV. :D
