Haha, no.
Ash is addicted to oxys and xanax, Neeshee trips balls all the time.
Pretty much. |
Hard drugs are pretty destructive and have a tendency to ruin your life. They are rather illegitimate.
But doing it once isn't really a big deal, unless you have an addictive personality and immediately crave instant gratification at all costs. In which case, you should probably never do drugs at all. |
Doing it once doesn't cut it for some drugs, though. Take Heroin for example; there's a good chance you're going to get really sick your first time. It's been said by some friends of mine who've done it that it takes 'til the third time to fully appreciate it. You just need to be moderate about it if you're going to experiment.
|
Heroin being the exception to the rule, since you can't really experience it your first time around.
My statement was general in nature, meaning there will always be the anticipated exception to it. I don't feel that hard drugs are really the type of substances one needs to "experiment" with though. They aren't really "experimental". It's hit or miss. Things tend to be extreme. I don't really know any casual heroin or coke users. |
I've also been told the same about Cocaine but have no idea if it's true or not. Haven't tried the stuff. I wasn't trying to nit-pick, was just stating that sometimes one time isn't going to satisfy your curiosity.
I agree about not experimenting with them, though. It's a risky road but I do know people who do opiates (All forms from PKs with APAP to straight heroin) and benzos at a casual level. Not for cocaine, though. |
I know several people who use cocaine and aren't addicted.
|
Cocaine is like weed.
|
Actually, for me and some of my friends thats how it is.

Coming from a family of alcoholics/drug addicts its pretty easy to say that when it comes to any sort of vice it's all about knowing your own limits. I personally can blow up an 8 ball of coke with a friend one night and never do it again but I can't drink rum lest I feel like drinking way too much of it and making an ass of myself. |
That's such a ridiculous notion for me to wrap my head around. I hardly even touch something as "soft" as painkillers (as in like aspirin and aleve). I feel like it's copping out in terms of pain in a lot of ways. Like if my body is giving me pain it's trying to communicate with me. If I personally wish to overcome that, it's my own fault. Also I don't want to be one of those people who pop and aleve to get rid of a "headache" which is really just a 4pm sugar low.
Yeah, I'm the same way. It seems like "pain killers" just mask the pain and as a whole it feels to artificial for me to comfortably take part in. If I'm experiencing a physical pain, then I search into it's mental causation. If there is nothing there, then I examine my eating habits, diet, and other physical factors. There is always a reason behind it and that's what needs to be dealt with, not advil or aleve. |
