I think it's just like the whole Systema Encephale fiasco.

Spiritofmosa 03-11-2006 08:00 AM

no,. not a joke

Syncratic 03-11-2006 08:40 AM

I dunno about that, dude.

Seeing as Blair never posts in red, even if it's regarding the new album, and his signoff doesn't appear at the end of the post, it's awfully odd.

Shadius 03-11-2006 08:41 AM
no,. not a joke
And how do you know this for sure?

got tool? 03-11-2006 09:40 AM

We can't really dismiss the fact that they are telling the truth, since they may be expecting us to think this is gonna be another Systema. But until the album comes out, i suggest that no one lose sleep over this. They're just track names.

Syncratic 03-11-2006 11:05 AM

The only thing that we (and the fake title-makers) have to go on regarding tracklistings is that there is a song title with the initials "L.K."

Darkness 03-11-2006 11:56 AM

L.K is not Lost Keys.

Reywas 03-11-2006 02:31 PM

The new tracklist is awesome but fake.

mudvayne420 03-11-2006 02:33 PM

maybe some track names are true and some are false.....

Reywas 03-11-2006 02:33 PM

maybe it's a mystery

Killtacular 03-11-2006 02:58 PM

Now, where did I put that time machine?

Reywas 03-11-2006 03:03 PM

timemachines are overundered

woot new album title

March the 2nd

OVERUNDERED

BMB

Killtacular 03-11-2006 03:09 PM

Was that English?

Reywas 03-11-2006 03:11 PM

don't know

bwnstl 03-11-2006 07:19 PM
album cover? or this one?

Click on that link and scroll down. Near the end there's some guy with a picture of what supposedly might be the album cover.
If those truly are the album and/or single covers, it looks like Tool is taking a page out of Rob Sheridan's art direction.

Moses 03-11-2006 09:19 PM

I like the second one.

BlindWriting 03-11-2006 09:27 PM

Adam confirmed the album title/tracklisting.

http://www.toolnavy.com/showthread.php?t=37682

Read the first post and scroll down for more info.

And I like the second album cover too. Definitely wouldn't mind if that turned out to be real.

Werny 03-11-2006 10:11 PM

I thought I read an interview saying that both Adam and Alex Grey are doing the art for this album. Neither of those covers are done by them, especially the second one.

Rosetta Stoned sounds like a Melvins song. Has to be a joke.

Darkness 03-11-2006 10:34 PM

I really don't like these names.

But if the musics good, I'll get over it.

Static 03-11-2006 10:43 PM

The 2nd cover just reeks of Radiohead.

Otherside 03-11-2006 11:50 PM

Agreed, first thing popped into my head when I saw that pic was Radiohead.

Godamn people on Toolshed are idiots. Reading some of the posts in that thread just fills the stereotypes of Tool fans being pretentious dicks with a theasarus.

"Omg guyz seriously u dont understand the pot might not be a great title but in context im sure it will be so cool and be lik completley deep or sumthing"

Whatever, The Pot is a ridiculous name that sounds like something out of a Britney Spears album. I don't really care if it's a great song, you can't justify such a crap name, ever.

Darkness 03-11-2006 11:51 PM

^ I agree. I still refuse to believe this is real.

Smart man^^

SmashingPumpkin 03-12-2006 12:55 AM

Haha, I agree. I'm registered on Toolshed but never post. Partly due to the fact that most of the people there are complete idiots.

omG but in COnTeXt It WiLL B3 G00D OmGz

The only tracks on this "tracklist" that I think are terrible-sounding names are Rosetta Stoned, The Pot, and Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman)."

ThePatient 03-12-2006 01:47 AM

Jesus, they're track names... Track names. I don't know about you, but I haven't browsed through my cd cases lately to read the tracks on the back. But maybe I'm just strange like that.

Spiritofmosa 03-12-2006 02:00 AM

this is awsome, does someone actually have the cd in his hands already?

dUSK 03-12-2006 02:07 AM

Looks like just the cover booklet to me.

Otherside 03-12-2006 02:07 AM

It just seems too much like

http://www.pinnix.net/blog/images/albums/okcomputer.jpg

or

http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00005QXXO.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Well, to me atleast. It seems to have a similair artstyle.
