It's really hard to find releases on that ultraunderground record label Peaceville. Especially as they've only rerelased it about 8 times.

RetiredAt21 07-30-2007 11:13 AM

Hahahahaha.
i kinda like ur jordens djup by finntroll.
I'm not really a Finntroll fan but I heard this at a friend's on a drinking night and yes, as already mentioned, it's fun stuff when pissed. I also liked the fact that the stuff I heard off that album didn't have too much out-of-place pseudo-polka stuff like the stuff I heard off Nattfodd(sp?). Either there was less pseudo-polka or it sounded more organically integrated.

What you don't seem to realize is that I live where this kind of stuff isn't exactly readily avalible and it's too pricy to get it shipped. Lol LordDargon the unelite.

yeah it can be hard to find stuff when you're living "in a room in [your] house".

LifeInABox 07-30-2007 12:36 PM

Hahahaha.

Bazarov 07-30-2007 12:50 PM

Autopsy isn't even hard to find on the internet though, even people who aren't elitists have Severed Survival.

NP: Nunslaughter - As The Cacodemons Feast

LifeInABox 07-30-2007 12:53 PM

I know. I can't download things with my computer unless it's on itunes, and even then I prefer the actual CD.

Bazarov 07-30-2007 12:58 PM

You can't get use Soulseek or DC++?

How much for an actual CD/record can shipping and handling be?

LifeInABox 07-30-2007 01:00 PM

Nay.

It would be like, $15 for the CD and $6 or $7 for shipping.

Dimmu Burger 07-30-2007 01:10 PM

screw that, man! I wish I could hack iTunes, lol.

LifeInABox 07-30-2007 01:14 PM

What is canadian in relation to US?

Dimmu Burger 07-30-2007 01:18 PM
What is canadian in relation to US?
One Canadian dollar is about 93.5 cents US.

LifeInABox 07-30-2007 01:19 PM

Oh. So I could in theory get it for less than $10 from Amazon.

pretty much my thoughts exactly.

Dargon 07-30-2007 01:20 PM
I listened to some Grave and it's good. Into the grave along with some early Grave demos, it was cool.
yeah but you don't have the demo from when they called themselves Corpse. That one is elite.

Stoic 07-30-2007 01:23 PM

Dargon, do you own any rare/hard-to-find material?

Niflheim 07-30-2007 01:24 PM

Trollhammeren is great for the epic cheesiness.

Stoic 07-30-2007 01:35 PM

I don't have any really rare material that would interest a collector. I have some hard-to-find CDs, meaning that they're not often seen in stores or sites like e-bay, the original Atheist LPs as well as a Pax Mortis EP which I haven't evaluated yet :\

Dargon 07-30-2007 01:37 PM
Pax Mortis EP which I haven't evaluated yet :\
I remember you saying you had that EP years ago; wtf? I've been looking for it on and off but I don't have any great interest in it.

Stoic 07-30-2007 01:46 PM
I remember you saying you had that EP years ago; wtf? I've been looking for it on and off but I don't have any great interest in it.
I remember that too! I would need a special gadget in order to convert it to mp3. I luckily found it at a second hand music store for 3 or 4 euros. :)

I also remember you saying that some day you would want to get the actual CDs/LPs/EPs from the material you have downloaded but that would definitely be hard. Anyway, the coolest thing ever would be to be fans of the scene during the 80s/early 90s just like Jondur and get involved with hunting/trading and fanzines. I'm afraid most of the magic in searching music is gone nowadays. :\

yeah the majority of the stuff I have (in mp3s I mean) is out of print. Having the actual material is nice, the artwork and lyrics make it a complete package, but if it's a choice between ordering some out of print vinyl on ebay for $50 or downloading it for nothing, I'm going to download it. I don't buy into the jewish consumerist "OWN OWN OWN" mentality. As long as I can heil the music I'm happy.

Deathcrush 07-30-2007 01:55 PM

Heil the music on your jewputer.
Heil the music on your jewputer.
I derive great enjoyment from this activity.

Stoic 07-30-2007 02:00 PM

Buying a CD you like for 10-15€ and this way give credit to the band is fine. Spending a fortune on out-of-print material, you can find on the internet with some effort though, is pointless. You just make some lucky people -and not the band- richer :\
