pfft. rocky horror picture show STILL gives me nightmares.
That show's a horror for all the wrong reasons.
That just did a run at the theatre I work at. 75% of the audience were wearing stockings and suspenders, including the blokes. Now that was frightening!
I find it strange that you work at a theatre - one that hosted RHPS, no less - and you don't know that it's tradition. You're supposed to dress in (blatantly obvious) drag if you watch it. Which is the main reason I'm pissed that my dad didn't want me to go see it with him and my mom.

Ezekiel, I'm digging it.

Koss 06-25-2006 03:41 PM

Sounds stupid, but the whole forum seems to have got better. Now there's somewhere to chat rubbish without going off topic and getting flamed for it.

I knew it was tradition and people where going to dress up, of course I did, but nothing can prepare you for 1900 people dressed like that!

Mez3- 06-25-2006 03:45 PM

this thread is only slow because SBT isnt around and such.

David_Gilmour 06-25-2006 03:48 PM

^^yeah, where is he? *whistles*

AG 06-25-2006 03:50 PM

I think he's getting drun somewhere.

I find it very amusing that when I made this thread, SBT and OT slated it. Now they post more than anyone.

Good point, I guess the mods never thought of it that way.

Oh, and  @ being unprepared for 1900 drag queens/kings.

David_Gilmour 06-25-2006 04:20 PM

as in the food? love it, nothing like a good sausage (btw i'm not gay)

Yashnaheen 06-25-2006 04:21 PM

I don't like 'breakfast' sausage. The rest is good tho.

David_Gilmour 06-25-2006 04:23 PM

breakfast ones are the best, a sausage in bread with ketchup, yum yum

oh, bangers and mash ftw

7 skrang 06-25-2006 04:23 PM
as in the food? love it, nothing like a good sausage (btw i'm not gay)
yeah the food.

it looks good and yummy, but when i take a bite, it's liike too much meat in my mouth at one time. i feel lazy and tired after i eat sausage.

mustard goes awesome with sausage.

ever tried chipolatas?

Yashnaheen 06-25-2006 04:24 PM

A banger is a potato, right? Whats mash?

SurfOrDie16 06-25-2006 04:25 PM

id rather have hash browns

7 skrang 06-25-2006 04:25 PM
ever tried chipolatas?
can't say that i have...

Me! 06-25-2006 04:27 PM

Can't say I enjoy eating sausage. It's okay for about two bites, but it's entirely too greasy for me.

Not huge on hot dogs, either, but I do like them occasionally.

Mostly anything processed and wrapped in intestine isn't wonderful like a steak or burger.

Jiffy 06-25-2006 04:29 PM
A banger is a potato, right? Whats mash?
and what are kippers... i heard bout them in harry potter

americanfootball 06-25-2006 04:30 PM

Sasuages are great. Especially battered ones from the chip shop.

overturned 06-25-2006 04:32 PM
A banger is a potato, right? Whats mash?
banger = sausage
mash = mashed potato

kippers = fish

David_Gilmour 06-25-2006 04:33 PM

chipolatas are smaller sausages, they usually taste nicer and there isn't as much meat because they are thinner, i recommend you try them

7 skrang 06-25-2006 04:34 PM
banger = sausage

how did banger come about?

overturned 06-25-2006 04:34 PM
there isn't as much meat
Then whats the point?

Jiffy 06-25-2006 04:35 PM

my goodness they offer harry kippers for breakfast..

heh, harry kippers, as in harry potter is offered kippers

AG 06-25-2006 04:36 PM

Oh god. I had the most beautifull fry up this morning.

4 sausages
4 hash browns
Beans
Fried egg
Two slices of toast
and what are kippers... i heard bout them in harry potter
David_Gilmour 06-25-2006 04:37 PM
Then whats the point?
well, same amount of meat, but because they are thinner, there isn't as much in a bite

chipolatas are long and thin, sausages are shorter and fat

americanfootball 06-25-2006 04:39 PM

The plus side is, I'm not overweight. ;)

cumberland sausages ftw, they own

marks and spencers sausages are good as well.

JoshIsNumber3 06-25-2006 04:42 PM

The other night for dinner, I fixed for a lady friend and myself a really nice meal of tortellini and added in this really nice sausage I hadn't eaten before.

It was spicy but there was also a hint of fruit in the flavor, it was odd by itself but set in very nicely with the meal as a whole.

David_Gilmour 06-25-2006 04:43 PM

probably apple in the sausage, apple and pork go well together

spicy bit could have been black pepper

overturned 06-25-2006 04:43 PM

:naughty: or did I mis read you Josh?

JoshIsNumber3 06-25-2006 04:44 PM
