tbh my parents bought me a pretty nice keyboard for christmas (i was looking through some pawn shops for something under $20 that worked decently), and i use it mostly as drums to play along with on guitar.

fuk it's cold here. i went to check the mail.

it got below -40 today with windchill, and it's going to stay that cold for the next 3 days or so.

i hate it.

just now starting to warm up here. don't know if it'll last. granted it was never that cold. it has been raining the past few days which sucks.

i hate wet/rainy cold weather. being in the 40s is one thing, being in the 40s and raining is another.

forget that -40 wind chill crap. i hate when it's positive 30 degrees fahrenheit.

I don't know how committed i would be to learn another instrument, though. I'm not usually somebody who gives up really easily but i can however see myself getting bored of piano/keyboard rather quickly.

I think my friend has a really shitty keyboard that i might steal.

Did you get any books to learn or did you just mess around with stuff?

i've got an instructional book i go through every now and then, and a book of songs.

i play it every now and then (i write alot differently on keys than on guitar, which is nice to switch it up), but it's nothing i've committed myself to.

yeah, i was going to go down to the high school tomorrow to talk to the principal/other people involved in renting it out, but i'll wait until it warms up. being outside for more than 5 minutes with the windchill puts you at risk for frostbite, and with a 17 minute walk, i'd rather not get frostbite tbh.

I finally finished coding my website, and I bought webspace and a domain about five hours ago. :cool:

Also got that Benny Greb samba foot ostinato down last night, where he's playing alternating singles between his feet but his left foot is alternating between hi-hat and slave pedal.

Im gonna be buying some webspace within the next few months :)
