I got 13.75 G's, or 4360 songs.

21.64 gb and 3743 songs. i only listen to a few hundred constantly though. so im working on branching out my taste.

I don't download music because the quality is not as good as vinyl.

I only buy vinyl and then I melt it down and put it in a syringe and inject it directly into my veins.

hah, i get torrents alot. or itunes. i dont mind the difference in quality, because i really cant tell to much. and i dont have the money/abillity to get out to get cd's all the time.

iTunes sucks. The new version can't handle anything with bass.

I'm buying a lot of CDs right now because Tower is closing and everything is 70-80% off. Mostly **** left now, but I'm going back to see if I can still yank me the first three Associates albums for $10. I just got [I]McLuskyism[/I] and the first Denim album for $10, though. That was neat.

yeah, but local cd stores are like 15-20 bucks a cd, and i hate waiting to get it shipped. plus on the holidays i usually get gift cards to itunes so its just easy. plus theirs always exe programs that will increase the quality/change the format of the mp3.

there are programs that you can download (free i believe) that can make the quality of the music better. for instance, you can change the file type. their are many ways, i just am not sure about the details. i have something called advanced wma workshop which i got at download.com and im still trying to figure out how to work it.

and hey, i really can't tell the difference between itunes and vinyl. they both sound fine to me.

Sorry, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but once a song is an mp3, it's an mp3. It has been compressed, thereby reducing certain frequencies held in the original file. A computer program can't grab those lost frequencies out of the air and add them back in. Once they're gone, they're gone.

What is funny is the more you change a music files type the less high quality it gets.
