It's about fuel efficiency?
eww...0-60 in 15.5?!
No thanks. Although, I could throw a turbo-charger in it...
it wouldn't fit |
it wouldn't fit
I'd make that s.o.b. fit. I'd put her in the front seat or on the roof if I had to. Dual exhaust and that thing would be ready to go. |
Does figured Purpleheart exist?
|
I'm sure it does, but it's so incredibly dense and tough to cut through, it'd be tough to find or work with.
Not only that, $$$. |
I want to find a pic of that. That would make the greatest top ever!
|
Morning all.
|
Its night here. Almost 23 hundred hours here

I think purpleheart is fugly myself, but I don't really count in your decision, so w/e. |
Thats not figured though. I have a crazy looking peice of wood in my mind it doesn't look like normal purpleheart.
Does burled purpleheart exist as well? |

I think purpleheart is fugly myself, but I don't really count in your decision, so w/e.
Its a great wood build and tone wise, but the looks also just do not appeal to me. I like either dark figured woods or light woods. A combination of the two always makes for some interesting contrast. |

Does burled purpleheart exist as well?
Probably, but it'd be even more uncommon than purpleheart already is. |
Lyman is also perversely proud that his brother signed up to fight in Vietnam and is selected to serve, stating that “the army was so glad to get my brother that they turned him into a Marine” (450). Continuing on to say that, “they really wanted him for his Indian nose. He had a nose big and sharp as a hatchet, like the nose on Red Tomahawk, the Indian who killed Sitting Bull.” (451). This passage is particularly disturbing because Lyman seems to revel in the fact that he enjoys his brother’s resemblance to Red Tomahawk, the Sioux native who supported assimilation and worked under the U.S. Army’s Seventh Calvary when he shot his Sioux elder and spiritual leader in the head for opposing governmental assimilationist policies and his outcry when he was being taken into custody.
Yes/No? |

Yes/No?
Yes. A bit twisted on the brothers part. But I like the analysis. |

Yes/No?
Sounds good until the last part of the last sentence. "was being taken into custody" Too many linking verbs. It creates a weaker sentence. try "while they (<-specify who they is) took him into custody." |
I could just nix the outcry part since it is particularly weak, but that's really the reason he was shot. He was Public Enemy No.1 because they thought his sentiment might catch on, etc.

Link that in then, something along the lines of "he was removed to prevent his mindset from garnering favour with others" |
do you guys know of any good tube preamps?
|
Wow, he shot him with his own gun too.
Probably something Aggie. |

If it's important, don't nix it. It's just that the placement of that clause is difficult. The sentence is long enough already and is particularly hard to follow. Find some other way to put it in. Hell, even just say that. "The man was Public Enemy No.1 - for they believed his sentiment would catch on - and thusly, they shot him." Or something to that degree. |

I swear I read this as "we was removed to prevent his doin of gardening favors for others." Wow. I'm tired. Shame I still have one more paragraph to write about a career in physics. I need to find benefit packages of any federal employee. |

By the way, mods, the thread title should read
"E-thay Asual-cay Ead-thray" You take the first sound, not the first letter. |

Only one I can think of is the Aguilar DB something that Brad mentioned. Have a look on musicians friend to get some ideas. |
DB750 is a full amp set up, I forget the preamp names. But you can check them out on the Aguilar website under discontinued.
Keep in mind they are a pretty penny. |
Okay, I am off.
Time to get some breakfast and do some work. Catch you all later. |
I'm off to bed as well. BTW i think the Demeter Pre's are tube but they are pricey

Huzzah for college finishing early!

Evening All
I'm listening to some Pat Metheny that I downloaded. Man, this is incredible. Such beautiful music. |
I was eating some soup, but apparently there are a bunch of fruit flies in my house again, so one landed in it and disappeared, which made me stop eating it. Now I'm just luring the bugs into it so they die the horrible death they deserve.
|
So, i talked to the ex girlfriend from 11:00 to 3:00, Ive been vomitting since 2:30 until now..
|
That doesn't make very much sense...
|
It was the first time weve really talked since we broke up, and I found out she did infact end up with another guy. And "I still wish it had been with you" was suposed to make me feel better...
|
The vomitting still confuses me.

 That's actually pretty funny. Made me giggle. Gah, research essay isn't done yet. Talked to the admin, and they wont give me an extension. My ratio is almost at .05 right now, so in 9 days, I can hopefully get lucky. I've also found an album I have but hasn't been uploaded, so I'll rip it now and upload it later in hopes of getting some downloads. |

By "I still wish it had been with you," did she mean her first time sexually? |
You can be super cool and upload the FLAC files, then also encode it at 192kb/s or higher and upload that. These people all dig their high quality music, and lower than 192 isn't allowed anyway. :p
