I love Good News For People Who Love Bad News. It's probably my favorite album.
yeah it grew on me... one of my favorites now too. it's now my favorite modest mouse album.

it's taken over prefuse 73's "uprock studies and vocal narratives" as the cd that i listen to while playing poker, so i've listened to it through a ton of times lately, and it's just not getting old. i love it.
I've been into some film scores. I like "Shawshank Redemtion"
The Shawshank Redemption has an awesome score. I don't have the CD, but I just remember loving it when I saw the movie.

i've been listening to a little bit of this and a little bit of that...mixed in with some hardcore avril...she's so fine...mudvayne, the used, synthetic belief (www.geocities.com/synthetic_belief/intro...i'm the guitarist and singer...even though i can't do either)...jeneva from lumsden, saskatchewan, canada are awesome...and remember, the gum under tables is usually bitter...i suggest gum from under sinks and on bathroom stalls...and stay in school friends :thumb:

Anyway, I've been digging "Vespetine" by Bjork. I would describe it as "Kid A" by Radiohead except with an amazing female vocalist.

br3ad_man 06-15-2004 02:47 AM

Oh, everyone read that url, it is proof of the claim that Tangy zizzle just made

Tangy zizzle 06-15-2004 02:54 AM

Luxor 06-16-2004 02:55 PM

Xiu Xiu's good, I haven't heard anything by The Unicorns though.

giventofly 06-16-2004 03:07 PM

they are going on tour sometime in july which should be quite an interesting site to see, i'm hoping they use visuals in a remarkable way, cause they seem like a band that would work best if we had something to see along with the music...

ive been expirencing broken spindles, mission of burma's vs., !!!'s louden it up, and now primal scream's XTRMNTR all of which seem to be some great variety between each other...

br3ad_man 06-17-2004 01:17 AM

I'm digging Bjork. She's good :thumb:

Tangy zizzle 06-17-2004 02:17 AM

White Pony is a top-shelf album. Most definately one of my favourite Metal albums, and Deftones are most definately one of my favourite metal bands - up there with Mastodon, BTBAM, Ephel Duath and the Melvins.

I love Metal!

That's what happened to me as well. The Pixies get too much hype, because they are awesome, but they aren't God.

Tangy zizzle 06-21-2004 05:45 PM

I agree with you guys. I mean I like the Pixies, but they don't come across to me as being that good. Sure they were an awesome band and they did alot for modern alternative, but they dont deserve the super high status thet they have.
