It's funny to see bands that I knew of previously jumping onto the deathcore bandwagon, and how fu[font=verdana]cking[/font] influencial Johnny from Job For A Cowboy's vocals have become. :lol:

Well, Aborted didn't really change much the last few years (since Goremageddon from 2001 or 2), so I dunno.

Word, the vocals sound a lot more "American" than I remember is all.

Identisick is much much better than any of their other work, but Icon is still pretty good.

It's just another funny case of a band going, "Hey, we have breakdowns, and call ourselves "core" to draw a larger fanbase."

Icon's a cool album though.

It's funny that Svencho can't find any other Dutch musicians that will play with him because he keeps kicking everyone out. Every album since Goremageddon has had a completely different lineup, and Svencho doesn't even write their riffs. That could probably account for their stylistic inconsistency.

Can someone recommend a Benighted album besides Icon? I have Icon and i'm looking forward to hearing more.

I miss their drummer on that album, Icon has a new one.

Their older drummer was better imo, plus the drums on Identisick sound ****ing perfect.
