Some people I know were shocked that I have never watched "Pimp My ride"
I honestly hadn't heard of it, it sounds the worst thing I have ever heard of.

Cars and Urban music.
I couldn't think of anything that would bore me more.

It is a rather dull show. I saw it at my cousins house. He's one of those wiggers (I believe the equal of a chave in the UK). I have tried to get him into any form of rock or metal. He thinks "gangsta rap" is more musicaly talented. Oh well. At least he's listening to something he likes, even if I don't like it.

I am eating popcorn, anyone know if COF puts on a good show.

Saw them in April, seeing them again on Friday.

They put on an awesome show, for a setlist from then see my last post in the Deathheads thread just now.

They'll play different stuff this time, I think.

When I saw them, they blew total ***, Dani Filth talked like a Jersey buisinessman one second, then shrieked like a dying bird the next... he was the major problem.

Most shows like that suck. A friend talked me into watching a couple episodes of the show "Next." I just sat there wondering how low these deuchebags could sink, though it did make me feel a hell of a lot better about myself.

Lord Abortion 11-30-2005 04:47 PM

I have had an Opeth Awakening.

Someone blatantly forgot to tell me How awesome they are...

Bartender 11-30-2005 04:48 PM

Cars can make shockingly good subject matter, though. Case in point - Top Gear.

Perhaps a reality TV show where the contest is to see who can lose more wieght would do the trick. It's bad enough that someone thought up the idea for such a show, but the fact that it is making great gobs of money is quite disturbing.

Lord Abortion 11-30-2005 05:03 PM

I really can't stand Top Gear.
Partly Jeremy Clarkson being a stupid Twat, and Partly, Cars are something that holds no interest for me at all.
Which is frustrating at 17, when everyone else is learning to drive and cars and driving tests seem to be the basic subject matter of any conversation.

NP-Opeth-In My time of Need

Bartender 11-30-2005 05:18 PM

I don't drive either - have no interest in learning and never have had - but I love Top Gear.

Shadows 11-30-2005 05:23 PM

I'd like to drive, but the teenage obsessions with driving annoy me. Once the option is vaguely open all talk turns to driving.

The speed (or lack thereof) of the site lately makes me want to slowly scratch my cornea with an unsterilized needle.

NP: More Dimmu Borgir :(

Kurtz 11-30-2005 05:29 PM

I can't wait till my brother gets his license in a couple of months. And the obsession with cars here is probably 34534834085 times more annoying that it is wherever you guys live.

NP: Anthrax - Safe Home

Daven 11-30-2005 05:32 PM

im not obsessed with cars and Im not not eager to get my license yet. I hate when some people are very excited because their birthday will be soon so they can get their license, it gets annoying pretty fast.

Neurotoxin 11-30-2005 05:39 PM

With the high gas prices and insurance rates that currently plague Ontario, I have no interest in getting my license.

JP: Death - Painkiller
NP: Helloween - I'm Alive

Dr. Jake Destructo 11-30-2005 05:41 PM

I don't drive much, because my parents make me buy my own gas.

It's quite the hardship considering the fact that I am currently unemployed, and I will remain so until summer, most likely.

NP: A7X - Betrayed

I'm almost done with my RYM album list. \:D/

That's another reason i dont want to drive, to pay the gas price. Also the fact that where I live its very probable you can get robbed, specially if you have a nice car.

Shadows 11-30-2005 05:48 PM

Quite so. We should make all n00bs take an entrance exam and an IQ test before they can enter. The reults don't matter, but the morons are the ones who quite as soon as they notice they have to test their way in. Score.

NP: Oh, you know...

TojesDolan 11-30-2005 05:48 PM

Bike riders. ++

Not like, motorcycles.

The normal ones are for real man.

Unluckily they stole mine a while ago. :(

On topic, some cars are left rather well... If we're talking of "that" Pimp my ride... with Xzibit and what not... There was this truck with somewhat 6-8 plasma screens in the back, and super duper stereo... yeah.

Was that said towards me :p

If so :upset: ...

Joe 11-30-2005 05:53 PM

Oh man you guys, I love driving. Whenever I'm driving just around I don't have to pay for gas at all. I probably will whenever I get a car but probably not much because I'll probably still take the bus to school. I'm so glad I can drive

No stormrider, it was aimed to the stupid ones (like myself a year and a few mos ago :upset: )

I mean, come on, it was only a matter of time, right? :p

Shadows 11-30-2005 05:55 PM

I'll have to pay for my own gas, but my parents are giving me one of our older cars (we have one extra) and helping me pay for insurance. I'll most likely drive myself everywhere because I loath taking the bus home from school every day.

Joe 11-30-2005 06:00 PM

I don't like it either except it would take up all of my gas. It's only about 5 miles except there's tons of stop and go traffic (for anyone that lives near me you know what I mean) and so it would take up probably a gallon a day or two and I'm not quite that rich. I don't have to pay for my own insurance, but I've got a pretty good deal (except I had to take some courses) and so that's not too bad. I hate getting gas, especially since I don't have a credit card.

Bartender 11-30-2005 06:01 PM

That has been seriously suggested before.
