Yeah, how much was the show? I'm goign to see A Wilhelm Scream, and I know that they would normally have a 10 dollar show if they were headlining, but they're touring with Pennywise, so it's f[B][I][/I][/B]ucking $17 at the door.

i hope you know, danzig demands ALOT of money from Jerry Only, so when you say hes a moneywhore, there's ALOT of legal reasons behind that.

They're all moneywhores. Misfits were pretty crap in the first place, I'm not surprised they suck now.

I didn't even like the misfits when they had danzig, they've always been really mediocre.

You all should know I don't like the misfits much too, at least the older ones. But they do suck much more nowadays than back in the day. They used to have some decent songs.

Anyone ever seen the George A. Romero movie "Bruiser"? Has an awesome climax where the cocaine addicted sleazy bad guy gets crucified onstage at a misfits gig and gets tortured and then killed with light show lasers by the good guy? Tis an awesome film. Has the best songs of the Graves era on it too, Descending Angel etc.

I might go see them when they come to my town but I am not sure. I am also pissed off at how much Misfits merchandise there is out there. So many little 12 year old wanabe's weraing legacy of brutality t's and fiend club patches it sickens me.

the truth. i saw them live last april. They wern't too bad, they played a lot of their old stuff and they only played about 5 of their new songs(cap songs). Even though jerry is a greedy arsehole, im more pleased to see an orginal member fronting than graves

Dude, the Misfits are one of my favorite bands. But without Glen Danzig, they arent the Misfits. So my opinion to do is, just forget about the fact that they are still a band. I just listen to there old stuff only. Listening to the new Misfits just pisses me off, so... I just think of it like they broke up when Danzig split. Dude, its the same idea with DK and Jello. Same concept...

If i was god i would reunite Misfits, Dead Kennedys , Black Flag, bring the Ramones back to life Same with Joe Strummer & a whole bunch of other bands that would take to long to list. But thats just me

fair enough. I don't mind a little politics thrown in from some people. For example the Dead Kennedys can get away with it. But lamers like Anti-Flag are, I feel, just jumping on the bandwagon and their views are, at best, half baked.

My band is playing a halloween show and all the bands are "going" as a different band. So far there are bands doing DK covers, Minor Threat covers, Alkaline Trio covers, and we opted for the Misfits. I thought it would be fitting for a band to go as the Misfits for a Halloween show. I'm trying to decide on a final setlist though..... (obviously we are gonna play "halloween.") Any ideas on how to fill out our setlist? I don't wanna play just stereotypical Misfits covers (i.e. Last Caress, Attitude, Where Eagles Dare)

Maybe Demonomania? Astro Zombies? Fiend Club?

I'm not a huge fan of Danzig era Misfits, I prefer Graves... Better songs, better production, better singer...
