This is the text of a letter that never got to email....

"Dear Nick (The Mod In Black),

I am somewhat of a new user when it comes to these forums, but not online forums in general. And with my extensive knowledge of forums and having seen things happen that shouldn't have, I believe that you have gone ban-crazy when it comes to some of the users on this site.

For example, in the Problems/Suggestions/Questions thread, while I do not know the full extent of the situation, I noticed that cheeser accused you of acting "high and mighty" and closing threads because you disagree with the people posting in them. Cheeser had a point when he said "so your inability to moderate well or even adequately is our fault for expecting you to? maybe it's time for you to do your job, rather than selectively enforce rules and misuse your moderating privileges." Whatever thread was closed, is not important. The fact is that if "intelligent discussion," as cheeser put it, is going on, and the thread is staying on topic, then it should not be closed.

You also banned Shtein for a day when he said "Nick ban yourself for killing my thread you big meanie." As well as (I'm pretty sure) Dustin/Forest_fire/whatever his name is for saying "Nick, you're not funny at all. You're just being an annoying a'sshole now." To which you responded "lolol your a fag lolol." Later he said "Nick has taken a superior tone in almost every post now. He doesn't like what we did, so now he just talks down to us and says things like "anarkeee lolz" to make it seem like he's mocking us. However, it's annoying. There's nothing cool or funny about pretending to be better than us, nick." To which your response was, "I find it quite entertaining how much your panties are in a bundle over all of this." Finally, in the end, he said "We get the joke nick. But it's not funny at all, and you keep doing it over and over." And you said "Whose problem is that then? You know why I started doing it? Because I got f'ucking tired of always being bitched at to do one thing or another, and when I did either of those things, someone would bitch about me doing it. I got tired of trying to make you all happy. So stop being a little bitch, get over it, it's a internet forum. You can live without the community thread and your account for a day."

Another example is when Thenowhereman42 said, in 'Community Thread Close-Gate', "NICK! I destroy you! no community thread makes me sad." You responded with "Your face makes me sad lolol" and banned him for 24 hours.

Finally, the most blatant misuse of moderating power of all (if this was why the 24 hour ban was inflicted) was when SkaBandit posted "Silly Nick." in the Close-Gate Thread. WTF?

And if I searched the Close-Gate and P/S/Q threads well instead of skimming them, I bet I could come up with more, like "You deserved it lolol. You fine african american gentlemenlipped large bundle of sticks lolol" and "Nazi mods nazi mods f'uck off... lololololol I'm cleaver!" and "ban0r0z 4 spam0r0z lolz."

Your defense, you said in the P/S/Q thread, is "What's worse, me closing a thread, or you guys spamming up the forum. You have no case at all." Well, like I said, what if intelligent discussion is going on in said thread?

Personally I don't think you should be using your moderating power to ban everybody who speaks against you for 24 hours. If somebody came up with a case for de-modding you and managed to find this little post, then I'm sure they'd win their case.

Don't laugh, Reiner, I'm sure somebody would find some things against you too. But this was concerning Nick.

But this is ammo for others. Actually I think you are (99% of the time) a pretty cool guy.

You do know I banned these people for making SPAM threads. They were off topic and pointless, nowhere did I do it because they were targeting them at me. They were no where near on topic with punk music. They were just making more threads to spam up sinc eI had closed the community thread. I closed the thread because the poor quality of discussion and was hopeing if they didn't have the Community Thread they would make the effort to make new threads. I was wrong, they didn't, they just spammed up the forum and got themselves banned. Everybody has been unbanned and the community thread back up.

And the cheeser stuff I suggest everyone else just stay out of. It's over and done with. Cheeser is not a valuable member to this forum.

Spam is any message that is offtopic of the topic at hand.

I'll keep it up there. You made a mistake with your definition of spam. I knew what I did upset people. It won't stop me from doing it again, because I've realised there is no way to make everyone happy in these forums.

If I was mod, I'd ban half of you just for fun. You're lucky Nick is nice.

Plus, he banned JmE and Kasey didn't he? Both these people are on good terms with Nick. Quite selective of this 'evidence,' eh? I guess it doesn't matter now.

Ban for starting a new YSI thread. It was closed for a reason and he shouldn't make another one right after you close it.

Question:
In making a band thread or something of the sort, can you still upload just a song or two?
I know you can't upload albums or have YSI threads, but I was just wondering if you can still just upload a couple songs. I haven't read anywhere that you can't, yet.

Do you have some sort of f[SIZE=2]uc[/SIZE]king problem with me, or is it just people that are more intelligent than you in general.

It's been established that there was no mention of why the YSI thread was closed, at least not in Punk. I thought Nick was just on a thread closing rampage again, so I re-opened it.
