ive met 99% of the girls in my town tho
life is **** for a 16 year old :(

Josiah 01-24-2006 05:56 PM

OH no.. enjoy it. You have no worries. What little worries you "may" have are only self or peer imposed.

Own your self first. Then the world will be yours.

DuckinFutch8 01-24-2006 05:58 PM

Josiah, is there anything you don't know?

damn...

Corkofski 01-24-2006 05:59 PM

god Jo, ur too damn clever...
thanks for the advice, but yeh. in my town, you can be about to ask a girl out, she can be getting off with you and all that, then 2 mins later you see her in an alleyway sucking off some black guy :(

and that was just THIS weekend:(

You're better then that. Don't even bother wasting your time with such low life. You'll be doing yourself a favor.

And if anyone gives you crap. Give it to them back.

I don't NEED a girl to make me feel better. I don't NEED a girl to suck me off to make me more human. I don't NEED someone elses approval to make my life complete.

Let alone the approval of a bunch of sheep who can't think for themselves.

Futuro 01-24-2006 06:00 PM

And I was just that black guy

Corkofski 01-24-2006 06:00 PM

Well said. I hang with the low life because i AM the low life. Im around the bottom of the ladder somewhere. Think im under the category of "drugged up scum"

jalel 01-24-2006 06:08 PM

hehehe I have only 2 other posts in this thread....

Sounds like you need to get to know yourself better. Thinking like that, you will always be at the bottom of the ladder. Word of advice, for every person climbing the ladder of success, there are a dozen more waiting for the elevator......

sorry for the double post:upset:

What's really more interesting is if you understand the presumptions behind that quote.

True enough though, we all have something to learn.

As an "adult" i know myself and the working of my mind pretty well. Ive always known who i am and what i want.

Care to enlighten me?

Oh and Phil, read the edit....

Drum Phil 01-24-2006 06:14 PM

Makes sense, but ive never wanted to be at the top of the ladder. To quote Tim McIlrath "we live on front porches and swing life away, we get by just fine here on minimum wage"

The higher the ladder, the more devastating the screw ups can be. From down here i can have a certain amount of freedom.

I was forced to discover myself as ive had a rough time through my teen years

Josiah 01-24-2006 06:16 PM

We've all had our rough times.

Yet I contiune to surprise myself daily almost.

That's true, to a certain extent. But you shouldn't have a self-imposed limit to what you can do in life. The higher up on the ladder too, the less people you have above you telling you what to do....

Were you an alcoholic at 14? Were you stealing to pay for that addiction and certain weaker drugs? Do you have several large black marks on your criminal record? Do you live in fear of your own fury after hospitalising someone after attacking them with a hammer? No? Well theres my teen years in an egg shell.

I may well have pulled through that now and ive learnt some hard earned lessons.

Im not limiting myself to the bottom of society, if i wasnt happy here i'd move up the ladder.

Could have been worse......you could have been drunk driving and went off the side of a mountain flinging your best friend from the car on to some railroad tracks at the base where he is then promptly ran over by a 3:00 am cargo train..............................................

Drum Phil 01-24-2006 06:23 PM

Ouch man. I was lucky and was never convicted, doesnt stop the cops being ready to pounce on me at the first sign of trouble though.

Win A Rabbit 01-24-2006 06:24 PM

i've had some terrible teen years so far. most of it wasn't me who was doing it, it was me generously trying to help out those around me who needed help. eventually, i dragged myself down with them, and i'm currently on my way back up. i don't want to say i "know myself", but i have a good idea of who i am, what i want to accomplish, etc.

jalel 01-24-2006 06:26 PM

Best thing to do is leave the past in the past and learn from your mistakes. No sense in dredging it up again just try to improve yourself.
