Chippy569 03-23-2006 06:06 PM

keytarist?

Undisco Kidd 03-23-2006 06:07 PM

Whatever you do, not violen. I hate those little virtuosos and their little recitals. You definately need to teach him to drum.

DuckinFutch8 03-23-2006 06:07 PM

no, bass all the way.

Drum Phil 03-23-2006 06:08 PM

I was thinking some sort of hand drum. Perhaps T-bone or trumpet.

milkmit 03-23-2006 06:17 PM

stop hatin' on the violins, foo'!

SkaRabbit 03-23-2006 06:29 PM

trumpet ftw!

Epiphender 03-23-2006 06:58 PM
Hi guys, I'm on here again at school! :D
Why are you always so thrilled to be at school? Do you sit in class and wander down the halls grinning like a goon, too?

Berk 03-23-2006 07:13 PM

Piano is pretty coo' or the Bass.

fishbulb' 03-23-2006 09:30 PM

Bass is pretty sweet. It seems like bassists are really off time and tempo, any body else realise this?

Futuro 03-23-2006 09:33 PM
Bass is pretty sweet. It seems like bassists are really off time and tempo, any body else realise this?
WTF kinda generalization is that?

Stop jamming with retards.

DuckinFutch8 03-23-2006 09:35 PM

hey, I just got audacity 'cause I heard it's pretty good for slowing down songs and makeing transcrubing easier. How do you do that? When I slow it down with the "change speed" thing it comes out very unclear. Is that just the recording or what?

LoneStarDrummer 03-23-2006 09:37 PM

i agree. that is a pretty dumb generalization.

punkrocker2o1 03-23-2006 09:41 PM

I vote keytar or bass. I cant find a good bassist around...

Double Bass Jim 03-23-2006 10:46 PM

Most folks who have had experience with the bass have a very good sense of time and rhythm.

Bass is as much of a rhythmic instrument as drums are

Loyton 03-23-2006 10:48 PM

So I got busted for pot again, and Im getting moved out of the studio. Looks like you guys are getting updated pictures.

There are ups and downs to having your set at home. In this case, its more downs. The dominating negitive effect of marijuana is getting caught, what a catch 22.

Futuro 03-23-2006 11:01 PM
So I got busted for pot again, and Im getting moved out of the studio. Looks like you guys are getting updated pictures.
Quit?

Win A Rabbit 03-23-2006 11:09 PM

so for the last 4 days now, i've had lucid dreams. i think i've finally got a hold on this thing. i got it for 4 days in a row a few months ago, and was certain that i'd gotten a hold on it, then i was only getting them once a week after that. i did alot more "training", and i've been getting them more frequently now.

yay. go me.

Double Bass Jim 03-23-2006 11:13 PM

You know theres better things to do then smoke up L man. Not to mention it costs money and that aint no good.

Motleyguy 03-23-2006 11:24 PM

I just got me a ticket to see Slayer, Lamb of God and Children of Bodom in July. I'm totally stoked, that coupled with 2 nights of Our Lady Peace and Crue for the second time, among some of the other rad concerts I've already witnessed this year, makes for an unbelievably orgasmic year in concerts for me.

Double Bass Jim 03-23-2006 11:31 PM

Nice get to see good ole laiho tear it up

Motleyguy 03-23-2006 11:40 PM

Yeah man, Bodom is one of the first metal bands I listened to, along with Pantera. Kind of like the bands that got me into metal. I'm totally stocked for Lamb of God too, definitely gonna be a good show.

Double Bass Jim 03-23-2006 11:43 PM

Yeah bodoms pretty good

The keyboard player is VERY good too

Motleyguy 03-23-2006 11:46 PM

Yeah, Jaska or w/e his name is (I think, but Jaska might be the drummer), but the keyboard player is awesome. Their drummer isn't too bad either, fairly solid, especially for a guy who started playing when he and Alexi started the band.

puppet.master 03-23-2006 11:47 PM

did msn just die for other ppl too?

Double Bass Jim 03-23-2006 11:48 PM

For sure

They are great players

Motleyguy 03-23-2006 11:50 PM

Yeah, very talented band. The same goes for Lamb of God, those guys are amazing songwriters. Their guitar riffs are catchy, almost poppy, but so crushing at the same time. Though I can attest a large part of the "crushing" sound to the rhythm section most definitely.

Tim 03-23-2006 11:50 PM
did msn just die for other ppl too?
Yes.

puppet.master 03-23-2006 11:51 PM

godaamn

Motleyguy 03-23-2006 11:53 PM

msn will never die, it is the evil communication way of the future. It's like crack. Microsoft really is fairly lame, just like Inernet Explorer. That's why I switched to Firefox, which if you haven't already, I highly recommend you do.

Double Bass Jim 03-24-2006 12:08 AM

Firefox is the way to go

Tim 03-24-2006 12:21 AM
Firefox is the way to go
yea. I used to have IE and I always got random shutdowns while in the middle of something. gah i hated it. FF now.:D

Double Bass Jim 03-24-2006 12:23 AM

Yeah all I used to use was I.E never wanted to try anything else. When I heard about firefox I thought it would be crap but when I tried it.. Oh man it's the best wouldnt use anything else now.

Seafroggys 03-24-2006 12:24 AM

anything by Mozilla is great. I'm using SeaMonkey right now (the successor to the original Mozilla).

Peanut Buster Parfaits are soooo yummy!

Josiah 03-24-2006 12:54 AM

FireFox rules!

Anyone see this kid over in the WFD thread desperatly trying to fight for it? He's at just over 10,000 words in 20 posts. That's seriously incredible...

Double Bass Jim 03-24-2006 12:55 AM

Haha yeah

What a yawnfest

ludvista29 03-24-2006 07:12 AM
Why are you always so thrilled to be at school? Do you sit in class and wander down the halls grinning like a goon, too?
I'm not....I'm reasearching for a project and I was done so I went on here.

Pauly 03-24-2006 07:52 AM

Firefox is great. They've got it installed on the computers at uni as well, which definitely gets me out of bed in the morning.

Plan B. 03-24-2006 09:39 AM

I'm seeing Bodom TONIGHT!

Corkofski 03-24-2006 09:53 AM
