The Brown Album is awesome. Albums named after colors are great.

colours named after albums are even better. sorry i'm an idiot. |
The White album, The Brown Album, ummm, umm. Metallica's black album sucked and it's not even classic rock.

I know I was only thinking of those two examples. |
Eh, the Black Album is alright in my book (not the greatest though)...
Anyway.... The greatest color album is the White Album naturally. The greatest greatest hits album is Don't Fear the Reaper by BOC. Enough said. |
Jay-Z's The Black Album was incredible. The best color album as far as I'm concerned.
And yes, the Beatles fanboys will tear me a new one for saying that. |
I got three albums today:
Rush-2112, Miles Davis-Birth Of The Cool and Grand Funk Railroad-Greatest Hits. so far I'm pretty incredibly impressed with the collection, GFR are a very underated band, |
Do any of you want a sample?

I take back everything I said, Rush are deffinitley, Classic Rock,
This GFR C.D is kicking serious ass so far, great band, |
When did you say Rush wasn't classic rock? And what was you're reasoning?
|
I think my Dad might have GFR CD.

I was a sorta close minded classic rocker, and I read somewhere that they were Proggressive Rock/Metal.
I guess I shouldn't belive everything I read, because Tears=Great song. Plus Woodstock, if it's a greatest hits, go get it and start to listen! You'll be amazed dude, GFR are an awesome classic rock band, |

Wheey, happy birthday Ray .
And JPJ: I have no idea, as I said, I was really close minded, if I stuck by my criteria, there'd only be a few classic rock bands. I'm glad I'm broadening my musical horizons by getting into sub genres, and different genres all together :). |
