hey mr. coke, hav you heard Today i Caught the Plague? i'd hav figured i'd see a comment bout them by u at some point...

Tyler 12-19-2008 03:59 PM

just went to their myspace

sounds like another Sikth ripoff.

willfellmarsy 12-19-2008 04:01 PM

na man, keys and vocals

Tyler 12-19-2008 04:08 PM

They sound almost nothing like Protest the Hero, and they're definitely not "more jazzy and less ADD" like you've been hyping.

I mean, it's decent. But it's really poorly thrown together.
na man, keys and vocals
ah two aspects being different = different overall sound

gotcha

rather than listening to stupid **** like that, check out like, good bands

willfellmarsy 12-19-2008 04:15 PM

coke: definitely less add, someone else said more jazzy and maybe i hopped on that yesterday but i was feelin good

hismajesty: wasn't saying that i was stressing the good parts, thus stressing...please enlighten me on these "good bands"

2 different aspects of a band can, in fact, mean a different overall sound...

hismajestythepope 12-19-2008 04:17 PM

emmure, the acacia strain, from the pawn, bury your dead, bring me the horizon, we were gentlemen, etc.

Tyler 12-19-2008 04:20 PM

there's no jazz at all in their sound and it's definitely more add.

willfellmarsy 12-19-2008 04:32 PM

all iv heard is bring me the horizon, and that makes all your other recs a lot less appealing...they stick to ideas and go with them...the transitions may be a little more jarring but it's not like hey a riff, hey a riff, hey a riff, hey a climax...

Tyler 12-19-2008 04:35 PM

bmth is bad but mappy has to have some awful stuff in between good recommendations. he has a reputation to uphold.

hismajestythepope 12-19-2008 04:36 PM

hahahha, besides the point that list was a joke

count your blessings is tight bros

everything else from them, not so much

but yeah listen to like, fjord, or unending idk

HighandDriving 12-19-2008 05:06 PM

Lulz

thread needs more non-elite metalcore

uhh.. Underoath anyone?

Dimmu Burger 12-22-2008 08:09 PM

Underoath is good stuff, though I prefer other bands over them. Desparate Times, Desparate Measures is the jam.

hismajestythepope 12-22-2008 08:11 PM

i really really love underoath, i dont listen to them as much as i used to when i was younger though. when i do, its usually changing of times.

Dimmu Burger 12-22-2008 08:13 PM

TOCS or any of the albums after that I enjoy. I don't like the old stuff really.

HardkoreXpliss 12-23-2008 01:22 PM

the song "Monuments" by TOTA is highly enjoyable.

encmetalhead 12-23-2008 02:54 PM

the nOOb is wrong, the whole album by This or the Apocalypse is highly enjoyable

Tyler 12-23-2008 02:55 PM

lol
