i used to be a little dirty bastard. id find a way to get hooked up by people id never met, preferably from a different city than mine, tell them i wanted a fairly large amount of whatever they were selling, and then find some way to just jack them. did that like dozens of time. biggest haul i ever got was a qp of dro but it turned out to be not that great of **** so i wouldnt have even paid for it if i was planning to.

stealing from dealers. its kinda like playing robin hood.

they used to be weekly things for me bro and back when i just stole **** id have to flip it quick so i think i only got like a g from that. cutting out my share of course but it wasnt really that great of ****.

Games are probably the one thing where piracy would irk me enough to go out of my way to support it if I cared enough to be playing games all the time.

The amount of hours one can spend here sort of justifies the price to me, just about any modern game takes me weeks to finish. Development costs are huge, the time, money and effort spent on makes it an incredibly high risk project with very few alternative ways to recoup money. The popularity of online gaming is probably turning the tables a little in studio favour though.

yeah many third party developers are getting some good exposure through mediums such as xbox live and w/e that ps3 **** is called, and there is def some good returns to be made, just take a look at what Braid had accomplished. On the other hand the market for Iphone apps has been badly saturated and the quality as a result is pretty horrible

like i said id illegally download alcohol too if i could, and alcohol is like my favorite thing in the world. the video game companies and the movie companies and the music industry will always find ways to make money, theyre led by businessman who will always find a way to scrape pennies together. for that new call of duty game to have made half a billion dollars in a week during what might be the worst recession in american history, and who knows what the **** that new twilight movie is going to make, means that no matter what theyll make enough money for the industries to continue, one way or the other.
