Haha no man I was just talking about the spiralling number of albums an individual artist will release these days. It seems like the days of an album every few years are gone. *shrug*

Sorry, I'm rather disinterested in people's desire to compare the two versions. The guy works on both; I don't see why that would be a point of comparison. Of course the Brits are going to find the American version stupid, and of course the Americans aren't going to understand anything the Brits say.

That's not what I wrote. Ricky Gervais works on both. I don't know what his motivations are. I'm just pointing out that if people are basing their opinions on their inability to understand cultural influences that aren't their own, that that is unjustified.

His involvement in the American version is alot less than it was in the UK though. I haven't seen a whole lot of the American one but I intend on changing that.

My friend turned yesterday too. Now he's got that period of about 2 months where he's 18 and his girlfriend is 17, so he can be arrested for rape. OH NOEZ!

I dunno about New York but in Aus it's legal if the guy is 18 and the girl is 16. It's like 16-18, 18-21, 21+ is open season for all. That is, an 21 year old can bang an 18 year old all he wants, but 17 is jailbait. Of course I can't remember the last time I heard of a statutory rape case that didn't involve a teacher and his/her student.
