Yeah the original solo is played badly but I just meant that specific arpeggio fits better imo. I prefer the opening lick in Sacrifice by Racer X though...

This Godless Endeavour by Nevermore has a great sweep picking section. I practised that today for about 5 minutes.

Here's Living Dead Beat from the Stockholm gig:

I think it's a myspace rip so it's not DVD quality.
The original sweep part sounds messy imo. Chuck's solo is also better, I think. Well they are actually both pretty sick.
Check Out Biomechanical's version they just recorded.

... 4weeks!!... four fukking long weeks...

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 07:35 AM

i have to upload these guitar one videos of Paul Gilbert. Its the most insane sh!t ive ever heard!

unfortunately, its 19 videos, and I won't be able to do it till tomorrow, if my internets get hooked up like they should

eug008 10-20-2006 08:17 AM

I have somthing that could possibly be that. Did you get it from the Racer X forums?

repcak 10-20-2006 08:45 AM

need to see it !

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 08:51 AM

nah, from the newest guitar one magazine.

thats not to say they haven't posted it on that forum mind you. Its 19 videos actually. Theres like 15 of petrucci, showing you how to play Under a Glass Moon solo, but honestly, the Gilbert videos interested much more

repcak 10-20-2006 09:26 AM

i wanted to buy Guitar One last week but they didn't have it... but we in austria get those magazines always some weeks later :(

edit: do you mean this? http://www.guitaronemag.com/
where's the paul gilbert/john petrucci issue?

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 09:27 AM

its the december issue...

you can expect me to post videos, and maybe even some of the tabs tomorrow, if my internets is working then

repcak 10-20-2006 09:34 AM

that would be great, so i don't need to buy it... but i will when i see it in the store somewhere..

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 09:35 AM

its the only reason i bought it hahaha

and i was glad i did

Hate Crew Deathroll 10-20-2006 11:19 AM

I have the videos, they're awesome. The first and last are great, as are the one where he plays that Bmin arpeggio and the Emin one that he first showed on Intense Rock 1, which is where he played it the best.

Squirrel 10-20-2006 11:50 AM

repcak 10-20-2006 01:48 PM

metalhead_matt 10-20-2006 01:48 PM

repcak 10-20-2006 01:54 PM

metalhead_matt 10-20-2006 01:59 PM

lol yeah.

yeah its worth buying, its actually a good show. they play bodom after midnight, stop at the interlude and then play bodom beach terror, and then go back to bodom after midnight. they also play breaking the law by judas priest at the start of downfall lol

Hate Crew Deathroll 10-20-2006 02:01 PM

And Holy Diver by Dio.

I still don't have it yet either but I've got the audio and the Living Dead Beat video and yeah, it's pretty sloppy in places.

metalhead_matt 10-20-2006 02:05 PM

i aint got the actual dvd, i got the audio also.
i think its good coz ive bummed tokyo warhearts for ages, and this has got like all their material on. he talks alot more to the crowd in this one aswell.

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 02:07 PM

when's that sh!t coming to the states?

me wanty

Hate Crew Deathroll 10-20-2006 02:07 PM

Oh right, I thought you had it.

He definitely talks more in this yeah, 99% of what he says consists of the word "fuck" though.

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 02:09 PM

i have tokyo warheart on my ipod, but thats the only live sh!t i have from Bodom

Hate Crew Deathroll 10-20-2006 02:16 PM

That's where they played at their best so you're not missing much.

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 02:24 PM

eh, i have yet to eliminate 100% of my mistakes, so i really can't talk sh!t. Regardless, if its a live DVD, and its Bodom, i want it

Hate Crew Deathroll 10-20-2006 02:30 PM

Well in that case, have you seen live in Nosturi 2005?

And Tuska 2003, Seoul 2001, Japan 2003, Lyon 2003?

They're all pro shot.

unknownsoldier12 10-20-2006 02:34 PM

i've only see live footage of one song, and that was bodom beach terror off of youtube

not really the quality im looking for, ya know

Hate Crew Deathroll 10-20-2006 02:39 PM

Well it is perfect quality, it's only 'cause it's been uploaded onto youtube that it looks bad. Same with Nosturi:
