Since when has trading in PC Games been so damn difficult?

I wanted to trade in 10 of my old games and had to try 3 different shops before I could trade.

Game said ''sorry, we don't take PC games''
ePlay said ''sorry, we don't take budget PC games''
Gamestation said ''well, we take them, but you might not get very much for them''

In the end I got about £15 for them all, and got Command & Conquer Generals Deluxe Edition with it :)

note to anyone wanting to trade in Quake 2 - its only worth 5p :-\

I also got Preparing for War by Darkthrone today, 'tis good.

I think it's rediculous how much you get for them. My mate traded in Metal Gear Solid 3, Jak and Daxter and Final Fantasy X (3 great games) and 4 others and still had to pay £10 for Star wars.

They were pretty darn good as well. I couldn't get over how much the bassist looked like one of the old Blue Peter presenters though.

I think it's the 10th anniversary. I seem to remember playing C&C (original) on PS1 round about 1996.
I wish they could've released RA2 and Generals on PS2 :(

Am I the only one sick of those morons at game (who generally know nothing about games) trying to force a games on people. For instance not long ago I tried to buy PES5 from game, at which point the sales person said "pro evo sucks, fifa is way better you should get that", to which I said "no thanks", his relpy was "fine be a moron, you obvioulsy don't know your games". At which point I left the shop and got PES5 for £10 cheaper at Chips.

I saw the anniversary pack, it was £30 though :(

The C+C pack will be £40, and has every C+C game on it ever, all the expansions, even renegade, should be cool, i might get hold of it.

Gamestation has the C&C pack for £30 :p

I might trade-in Red Alert 2 and Generals + Zero Hour if/when I get my hands on £30 and get it.
