Nah not really. He's playing the right notes in time (sometimes) but the overall tone of every note is bad because of how he's fretting them. He also plays the arpeggio bit differently (sweep as opposed to string skipping) so his timing is out and it's sloppy on those parts.

lol I remember when I got my new computer, I went on a youtube rampage. I used to sit at my old one and see all these "omfg look at this Ut00b video" and I'd be like ahh fuk I can't watch it. I used to have to practically beg any of my "friends" at college to let me BORROW their headphones for 5 MINUTES so I could watch it there.

Just got back from parctising the sweeps in Death's Painkiller cover on some boring bus journey.

I like the original solo better tbh, the F#min sweeps. I don't really think Chuck's choice of arpeggios was too great.

The original sweep part sounds messy imo. Chuck's solo is also better, I think. Well they are actually both pretty sick.
