I'm just 22. You struck me as a lot older. Maybe it was referring to yourself as "Jim" that threw me off!

jamesr 11-24-2004 02:53 PM

I want to reach 1000 before the year is out. I been on here for a long time to have less than 1000 posts. I think the mods delete them from, butholes.

Well, at least you are an admin. I'm still on the bottom of the totem pole (and I will be for at least 2 more years).

The totem pole is not that big, only a 100 person company with two locations. Only me and my help desk in the computer department.

moxshyfter 11-24-2004 03:03 PM

Ah...You ever heard of Nationwide Insurance? :) Yeah, there is about 4000 people in my building alone, and about 20,000 nation-wide.

Yeah, I wish I was the admin there. I would be looking at $200-300 a year salary. Then I could get that studio i wanted.

Hahaha, our PC department just did a company-wide deployment for Access 2003 which required us to uninstall the entire Office Suite and reinstall it with the new Access. They locked up all of our computers for 2.5 hours, and basicaly clogged two of our service departments for over 5 hours!

Oh yes, office you just have to love it. The last big deployment I did was SQL server 8.0. When I did it, it had a conflict with norton antivirus, and I had to reinstall norton on everyones computer.

can i go to college to be an astronaut? it would be so cool to sell passionfruit shampoo to the martians while i play my didgeridoo. and they can be like "where did you get that big stick" "ill be like australasia" because i can already tell with newsreader mindset , they just want to learn about didgeridoo and not actually get one. i crossed something off of my list of things to do before i die " get thrown out of a thrift store" next thing is antiquing. and the way to die "falling naked from an airplane"
