I'm deathly afraid of the tarantualas, poisonous snakes, Gila monsters, and scorpions around here.
I can't wait to move back home to where all we have to deal with is wolves, bears, and the occasional black widow spider. |
Funnel-web Spiders are supposed to be quite common where I am, I've never seen one though. They keep to themselves, thankfully.
Funnel-webs are probably one of the three most dangerous spiders in the world and are regarded by some to be the most dangerous.
:( |
I won't even click that link.
Are they dangerous? |
When I went to Hawaii years ago there was this huge spider in our car that we didn't see till we started driving, needless to say, we pulled over and got rid of it, the thing was like 2 inches in diameter.

*shudders*
I was just reminded why I'm quite content with living in Sweden. |

:(
You see spiders that big here on a daily basis. |
The biggest spider I've seen around here is a banana spider

That's not too bad....still scary if you stumble across one not expecting it...... |
They are nasty looking though.
Nasty like latvian woman with acne?
Worse, actually.
more like a latvian bear woman with herpes.
As hard as it might be to believe, I actually think that banana spiders might be uglier. Shocking, I know.
you're just biased with a phobia.
Probably. With some cognitive therapy I would most likely come to realize that Latvian bear women with herpes are one of the vilest lifeforms known to science.
Hopefully, one day.
Amen to that.
I think I'm gonna go to sleep. I'll see you guys in about 8 hours or so.
Sleep well, tovarishch.
Guys, I already caved. :):(
No clean Mappy?
I'm listening to *shels.
They are awesome. |
Yeah, they rule.
What genre are they?
Hm, not sure what genre:
http://www.myspace.com/shels Give them a try. |
i think they're considered progressive metalcore or something gay like that.
Well, I don't hear the metalcore.
I dont know I havent' listened to them in a while I just remember hearing that.
From the first three minutes they sound quite okay. I might check them out when I'm off my current post-rock binge.
They don't sound like metalcore at all.
I just said it's what I'd seen them labelled as. Talk to Jared W. Dillon not me.
Eh, I don't know, if they have any metalcore-ish material, it's probably really cool... the guitarwork has a vibe vaguely like Changing Of Times-era Underoath.
but they have a trombone so it's progressive.
and a trumpet. and probably a saxophone |
This means they're classically influenced as well.
And post-rock because they have no vocals.
Sup guys? I just got home from a rough day at work. Thank God the day is over lol. |
At least you have a job
and a boner apparently.

But they do have vocals, you filthy Mexican. |
