Is execution a step too far?

Brew 02-07-2006 03:31 PM

hmm

possibly, but it wouldn't bother me if they executed him

IAJP 02-07-2006 03:36 PM
I think so

They'll probably have some fun with him
What like taking humiliating naked pictures of him with a woman standing in front of him going ":thumb:"?
!

Brew 02-07-2006 03:37 PM

hopefully!

the_uber_penguin 02-07-2006 04:07 PM

Only if the woman is hot though.

 Without exception, regardless of crime.

I heard 7 years, and i thaught "wtf, he shuold have more"

Knowing he only could be in for 18 months is disterbing.

So, last night I went and saw a show - you know, like a band. I never do that. Anyway, I was so thrilled when it turned out that I would be seeing Sigur Ros. I can sum up the concert experience in four letters and a punctuation mark.

Also, guys, I can stake a claim on something containing, quite simply, three letters and a punctuation mark:

FOD.

the_uber_penguin 02-08-2006 12:31 AM

Dare I say it?

FOAD

Penguins really do rule

Jev 02-08-2006 01:50 AM

Having a drumkit in a small room like mine creates problems. I fell over it today trying to get to my drawers.

my sister likes them, she found out about them years and years ago and would probably love to see them live

Yeah, I only found out about them a few years ago, after I got really obsessed with Radiohead, and it was suggested that I try out Sigur Ros. Tell your sister I highly recommend seeing them live. They bring their string quartet with them, and every band member (including the string quartet) plays no less than two instruments. They do phenomenal work live.

Atomic Rain 02-08-2006 09:34 AM

They're great

Hope i get to see them sometime

Doctor Night 02-08-2006 10:30 AM

Hmm.

Jev 02-08-2006 10:41 AM

What?

Doctor Night 02-08-2006 10:42 AM

I was just thinking....

I really find MX quite useless now.

Jev 02-08-2006 10:45 AM

It was quite good a couple of days ago but today it's rather crap.

Doctor Night 02-08-2006 10:55 AM

Yeh.

Atomic Rain 02-08-2006 11:47 AM

A plague on both your houses!

Yeah, mx sucks.

Brew 02-08-2006 01:21 PM

Whoa!
Slow down Ozzy!

Brew 02-08-2006 03:02 PM

Brew didn't mention Ozzy, n00b

Spectrum 02-08-2006 03:17 PM

MX is not anywhere near as awesome as it was when I joined.

Maybe I'm just not a newbie anymore, and a jaded vet.

That, or when MX Tabs shut down, half of the discussion stopped for obvious reasons.

IAJP 02-08-2006 03:24 PM

People in the pit seem to be scared of being funny, in case one of the "Vet" members doesn't find them funny. Check my last 30 odd posts, it's in here or the "What are you listening to now?" thread.

Brew 02-08-2006 04:08 PM

on the whole, people that post in the pit are retardedly unfunny

Because it's cool for vets to pick on noobs. One vet makes a comment and suddenly everyone jumps on the bandwagon, sucking their cock.

I prefer R&M a lot more now.

the_uber_penguin 02-08-2006 05:18 PM

It's amazing how long some of the Vets have been here, though.

Jarviss was posting recantly. He was a mod when MX switched to VB in 2001! Shame he doesn't post much anymore...

Spectrum 02-08-2006 06:26 PM

FOD. Yay!

Spectrum 02-09-2006 12:29 AM

FOAD. Yay!

Jev 02-09-2006 01:49 AM

Nobody's posting in here

Grr at train service.

Normally my trip to college is the 7:24 from Ewell West to Dorking, change at Epsom, then the 7:38 from Epsom to Guildford.

Anyway...the 7:24 is delayed, so I got the 7:39 (delayed 7:43) to Epsom to check up on my options.

Normally in this situation I wait for the 8:15 to Guildford, so I read a Metro.

At 8:15, the sign displayed "Delayed", and then a few minutes later, "Cancelled". The 8:47 to Guildford followed the same pattern five minutes later.

As I got on a train back to Ewell West, having given up, the 9:15 was just being delayed.

How hard is it to run a ****ing train?

Jev 02-09-2006 03:32 AM

Unlucky. I don't ever use trains unless I'm going into London with friends.

Spectrum 02-09-2006 11:36 AM

You know, I used to be a useful contributor to this site, and a very active participant in this thread's conversations and everything.

Now look at me. Stealing FODs and claiming FOADs to get be. Pitiful.
