Wow.

How long has he been playing?

Foxfire 11-01-2004 07:44 PM

I can't decide what I want for Christmas.

So far I'm thinking along the lines of a guitar or a drumset or a keyboard, or possibly another bass...or a slew of effects.

*slams head against keyboard*

*flips off money*

Kill him.

bottlerocket 11-01-2004 07:45 PM

^ Get a drumset. You'll feel a lot better if you get it now while you have the cash. Buy a decent guitar (like a Fender Strat) later. You'll replenish the money for the drum set right away after you get your Christmas money.

NOW TED, VOTE IN THE BASS FORUM AWARDS THREAD.

"gogogogogogogogo." :)

Well Christmas, I'm thinking of getting a Ludwig Accent 5-piece + Zildjian cymbal set + double bass pedal.

The upside is that I have my birthday and Christmas in the same month, meaning there's a higher chance I'll be able to pick it up.

Of course, I have about 460 bucks on me at the moment. That needs to go into an Avatar 2x12 and a head.

My friend (also guitarest) is trying to convince me tone knobs are useless.

Radiobass81 11-01-2004 07:47 PM

For Christmas, I'll probably just ask for money...

... and the new SNK King of Fighters :thumb:. And maybe SHenmue 2.

bottlerocket 11-01-2004 07:49 PM

^ Tell your friend to play the Mark Hoppus sig (with just a volume knob), then play an Ibanezn with 4 tone knobs and ask him what the difference is.

Not to clutter the Bass Awards Thread, But Gav:

Last nights South Park was great.

Best part was in the PETA Village with that Ostrich-human hybrid baby that said "Kill Me."

I almost pissed myself laughing.
