how long have you been in a long distance relationship?

ps hw help guys, i need to complete this list:

Ten Signals that vary with time:
1. Muscle contraction noise
2. Tone produced when striking a drum
3. Frequency modulated radio signals
4. Speech
5. Whistles
6. Movement of a jump rope
7. Air currents
8. Waveforms on a monitor displaying a screensaver
9. Neurological synapse firing
10. ?
Radioactive decay.

And I have been in long-distance relationships for over a year now. Mel and I ended it about 2 months ago, and now Hayley and I have started.
Well, I would like to sleep. But my chance of failing is very high if I don't look at my stuff. Because I was too lazy to do it at a normal time. :upset:
idk i never fail tests even if i don't even know the material so maybe i'm a bad judge.

jom: repd with much much much love.

can you believe that was an assignment for my graduate class? :p

TojesDolan 08-22-2007 06:18 PM

I've stopped sleeping and feeling safe at night.

superpeer 08-22-2007 06:19 PM

Okay, I will try that. Gonna get me some cola, though. Need some powa.

dude I highly doubt that that is the right answer, don't turn it in thinking that it's right because I'm pretty sure it's not :o

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-22-2007 06:20 PM

Riva's a damn playa.

Eh, Jomster beat ya, repz anyways

orly? ok well I guess I can't really say you just don't hate them yet...well, bravo to you. Hopefully things work then =)

edit: Jom, no it works I think. The frequency readings in an earhthquake would be time variant i think.

it makes sense to me :)

Riva 08-22-2007 06:23 PM

Riva is a lovesick fool who jumps before he looks.

Thanks Vince. :-*

TojesDolan 08-22-2007 06:24 PM

It is. Earth movement changes with time, so it's valid.

I'm still a youngling and I'm analysing permanent sinusoidal waves.

It does.

Earthquakes produce time-related frequencies yes. The arrival of the p-waves and the s-waves and their minor associates allows us to predict the distance and approximate location of the epicentre through simple trigonometry. :)

Permanent Solution 08-22-2007 06:29 PM

Hooray everyone else confirming it = more assuredness.

This class is going to be really fun I think. I'm excited.

Tojes: Well tbh after basic signal theory you can more into signal processing and then time-frequency analysis is the next class so you're only like a year or two from it.

superpeer 08-22-2007 06:32 PM

Vince: You wouldn't pass this. It's already impossible to pass with revising, let alone passing without even looking at it.

The shit about this course is that it's actually two classes, not even remotely related to eachother, but they pretend it's one relevant class. Fuckers.

It also has the most chaotic syllabus in the history of EVER.

Luck runs out when you take it for granted

superpeer 08-22-2007 06:37 PM

Maybe so. Maybe so.

Okay, so I made toast, to get some energy and I wasn't looking, not really I wasn't and it's slightly burned

why must this always happen to me why

Anglachel 08-22-2007 06:38 PM

Not when it's skill you just attribute to luck. Like everyone else thinks I'm this super being I just think I'm lucky. So idk i guess.

Jelle: because you weren't paying attention ^_^

TojesDolan 08-22-2007 06:40 PM

Jelle: Because you were posting while it was being cooked.

Vince: Yeah it's going at a slow pace until I get to the really fun, difficult, evil stuff.

superpeer 08-22-2007 06:40 PM

I can't pay attention to everything!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

My school doesn't allow any gaming on their network. This means no Xbox or PC to kick back with. :(

Eliminator 08-22-2007 07:10 PM

Oh man, it must be torture to go without video games!

Tyler 08-22-2007 07:10 PM

That's pretty gay. How do they block it though, using specific ports or what? Because I'm sure some nerd will get around it in like two weeks.

Shadows 08-22-2007 07:12 PM

I don't know. I'm pretty retarded when it comes to technical online stuff. I read a FAQ that says they just cutoff your connection if they find out you've been gaming on it, but so far I haven't been able to connect at all. =/ Pretty damn gay.

Tyler 08-22-2007 07:15 PM

That seems a little exaggerated. Gaming just uses specific ports I'd imagine so the most they could do is block it.

Are you going to a Chinese university or something?

Shadows 08-22-2007 07:17 PM

No, I'm in Pittsburgh, PA. There's something really wrong with my connection though. I can't log onto gaming services, I can't get anything on soulseek, I can't even sign on MSN messenger. Something is unnecessarily shitty.

superpeer 08-22-2007 07:24 PM

Play... offline?

Or am I just being old fashioned here

Tyler 08-22-2007 07:25 PM

I never really play online. It's not fun, I'd rather have games that are well designed with stories and solid gameplay mechanics. Any game that needs to be extended by multiplayer is not worth my money.

superpeer 08-22-2007 07:27 PM

I hardly ever play online, I don't trust my computer enough to do it.

The only thing I do sometimes is play Ages of Empires with my little brother, who's in a room upstairs, which is hardly online, really.

Then again, I hardly play video games to begin with.
