|
Good 'tallica stuff to learn is
Welcome home [sanitarium] - the first solo is the easiest and they get harder as the song goes on Fade to black - has a fairly easy solo at the beggining Master of puppets - Not as easy as the first to but the clean part before and james's is solo part are relativly easy just keep practising em but when kirk comes in it is very difficult to keep up with him The unforgiven - again i think this solo isnt too easy but worth a try |

Yes, because one poll is overwhelming evidence that he is a god.... He's GOOD; but not amazing. |
Are there any drum solos in ANY Metallica songs?
In the Live ****: Binge and Purge, Lars does a drum solo in one of the dvd concerts. It's quite good. Him and James have a duel type thing. |
there is a little drum fill bit in fight fire with fire which sounds pretty kool thats the only one i can think of
|
i love metallica but whats with there new album? why no guitar solos?
|
Er, 118 pages? I think its time to start a fresh thread.

 true Whats everyones favorite Metallica Solo? i can probably guarantee this has been done seen as there is 118 pages but there dont seem to bemuch happening on this thread at the minute Mine is Dyers Eve Master Of Puppets To Live is To Die Shortest Straw |
I was in a Mc Donalds in Nottingham and they have like music in the background and this song came on that i knew i reconised and it was Metallica Wherever I May Roam! i thought that was well good :thumb:
|
Master Of Puppets is good, but their solo's don't stick in my mind like Iron Maiden or Guns N' Roses do.
Also, Fuel. |
^^^
Fuel is one of my least favourite metallica song's ever |
Creeping Death and Fade To Black have 2 of the best tallica solos.
|
nothing else matters solo - proof that hetfield is better than hammet
|
nothing else matters solo - proof that hetfield is better than hammet
 You do know that the NEM solo is probably Metallica's easiest solo, right? |
^^^ the fade to black solo is too long. and i don't like the end.
i like the blackend solo :) |
i thought the question was whats everyones favourite metallica solo, not whats the hardest solo?
nothing else matter solo fits the song amazingly |
the hardest solo is blackend ... :p
|
my favorite solo is blackened
|
Blackened is one of my favorite songs.
|
i thought the question was whats everyones favourite metallica solo, not whats the hardest solo?
^^^
Fuel is one of my least favourite metallica song's ever
Fuel rocks. And strangely reminds me of Motorhead in style. |
we can't choose a favourite solo. there are too much of them. all of the albums have specific accents in solos.
like Kill em all has got a mad shredding, RTL is more melodic. MOP also melodic, AJFA too fast. 1991-1997 albums got lots of bluesy stuff. so it's not that easy to pick up one. for me actually it's kill em all solos. they're so sick ! + they're hard. i can't play any solo of that album except last 4 horsemen solo. (probably it's because i suck !) nevertheless, it's still hard to decide |

Fuel does indeed Rock. One of the first Metallica songs I heard and still one of my favourites :thumb: |
I know I'm probably a bit slow but...
Are Metallica religious? Ive noticed religious themes in alot of their songs, but then there's The God that Failed which is hardly religious. I'd say they were sort of anti-religion, they believe that a God exists but they don't like it, or something like that. I can't really word it properly. Wot do you guys think? |
