Become a monk?

I just recently passed three years without having had my hair cut. It is quite the mess.

NP Bucky O Hare
not becoming a monk, but the metal hairdo needed some cutting I thought.

Than the hairdresser told me I have awesome and nice looking hair and that I take care of it well, because I hardly had any split ends or broken hair and stuff.
I was like:  thank you, I thought you had to cut of half my hair because of split ends .

I thought all this headbanging and visitng smokey gigs would damage my hair, but appaerantly not, which pleases me.

I had about one inch cut of.

and my hair is now till 2 inches above my nipple (same length foreside and behind)

I think in about half a year/one year it will be at the length it will stay.
I don't want it any longer than half way down my back, cause it would take too much effort to get it combed out and washed and all (I have curly hair)

but you 'Tender, 3 years without cutting, how does it look? still ok, or split ends and fuzzy?

how long is yours?

Bartender 12-10-2005 09:00 AM

EDIT: It's not very long. It's not incredibly short either - middle of my back, maybe? But because I've not cut it at all - not even trimming - it doesn't grow especially quickly.

And like I say, it's rather a mess. I shower frequently, but just with water; I don't actually wash it very often, because it feels horrible when I do (it becomes very fine, and annoying).
like 3 of mine, 2 of yours, and 1 of Happy's are gone. Ollie said it happends to him alot too, I don't know.
Stormrider deletes a lot of his own posts. I deleted one of yours, because it was in direct response to one of his (which he deleted), in an attempt to prevent confusion, which evidently hasn't worked.

Unless someone's physically removing (hard-deleting) posts beside those two, there are no other deleted posts in the last few pages. I've not noticed any disappear, either.

Is that good or bad ?

Maybe I should stop not to cause what I just did then..

Oh. Well thanks then, I thought MX was just deleting them.

Bartender 12-10-2005 09:04 AM

Well maybe it is, if you still think there are other posts gone. Sorry for the confusion, anyway :-/

It's not necessarily a problem. As much the fault of my itchy deleting finger as your..whatever it is that drives you to delete your posts so frequently :)

Usualy when I see that there like unoticed or unnessecary or sometihng like that I take them out. But it sucks when I had just taken them out and theres a post which quotes my deleted post...oh well.

Unnoticed? You don't delete a post if it is unnoticed. Half of everyones posts go unnoticed.

the2stranger 12-10-2005 09:09 AM

i don't see any reason to delete my posts, unless I would type some drunken rumblings, but I don't do that.

I'm pretty happy I reached 5000+ posts, I've never had such a high postcount on any forum.

btw:
Didin't Ninjamonkey delete his own posts too because he wanted to keep his potcount the same or something?

Oh well..Some of them are just useless.

Either way I understand myself :p

Ok. I see

Ninjamonkey is retarded if he did that. Why?

Don't know about ninjamonkey, but Sweboy kept that up for quite a while when he reached 6,666.

King_Of_Terrors 12-10-2005 09:20 AM

I've never thought of this, but if you delete a post you got repped for, does the rep go away?

I considered doing that, but it's more hassel then it's worth to go back and delete and old post everytime I comment.

That's a good one, I wonder about that too.

Not that I ever delete any of my posts though :p
What kind of band is your first one?

NP Radiohead - A Punchup at a Wedding
We were a kind of progressive band. Our guitarist, who kicks an undisputed amount of craphole, is a little too single minded. He's kind of a prick too.

I've only deleted when someone else that I've quoted has or when I've made a stupid post and delete it before anyone sees.

King_Of_Terrors 12-10-2005 09:55 AM

I've only deleted posts when me and Jom got into a huge argument and everyone was making fun of us.

Happy, what is your name?

I rarely delete my posts and if i do, its pretty much for the reason stated above.

Shadows 12-10-2005 09:56 AM

I only delete posts if I realize it's against the rules or if it looks extremely stupid.

the2stranger 12-10-2005 09:59 AM

Have fun. I have done that and I hate it with a passion.

Alright Jev. Did anyone see Freezing Moon's idea for the mailing list things? It's in the Report Problems/blah/blah thread.

King_Of_Terrors 12-10-2005 10:06 AM

Ah...well Ben made a good point. It would be hard to type out the links. UNLESS you posted them in MS Word. And made the font big...
