Well, I have to deal with people every day that say metal is no talent hacks that just bash on the drums and guitar and scream. So ya, goes with every thing in life for the most part.

I tend to stay away from Ludacris, Jay-Z, Mystikal, Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz, Eminem, 50 Cent, Terror Squad, etc. because I don't appreciate them either because they aren't good linguists or I just don't enjoy the music.

Well, what's the difference between rap and hip hop? I thought rap was the culture/lifestyle, and rap was the music.

I tend to listen to the first list and stay away from the second, too.

Eminem has a terrific flow. But ever since his second album his material has been lackluster at best. He's a horrible producer, and lyrically he's almost becoming a parody of himself.
