No it's "light" I just re-listened to it closely.

EDIT: Further argument: Neon Live Diamond would make no sense.

1st: It would be setup for Friday or Saturday.
2nd: I refuse to document the debate this time. Someone else do it.
3rd: We must contact the regulars, most importantly Miik, Kingadamx, and Voodoo (They all kind of specialize in one of the chosen groups).
4th: We must find ways to even out the teams and rules.
Uh-huh....

I can safely say that more people here like the Beatles as opposed to the Stones. If you like the Stones style, go for The Who, as they are better.
???

They don't sound alike. At all.

I'm back. And where has lunch been today? I haven't seen him.

My computers teacher lets us bring in CDs to listen to while we work on our projects, so today I brought in a Pink Floyd mixed CD. One kid tried to argue that because it wasn't made within the last seven months, that it was crap. (He's lucky he doesn't sit by me anymore.) But at the end of class, one kid asked if he could borrow the CD. I may have successfully turned on another kid to classic rock......unless he already likes classic rock. But I'm thinking I will expose the class to either some Dylan or Cream tomorrow.

I love the Stones, but the Beatles are better. Jagger was Lennon's whore, he followed him everywhere and he was the one who begged to have a Stones plug on the cover of Sgt. Peppers.

I love the Beatles more than any other band. Me=Beatles freak. The Stones are alright though. I like a lot of their songs.

I have recently become crazy about Have A Cigar and Apples and Oranges-Pink Floyd and Cosmic Charlie-Grateful Dead. I can't stop listening to them.

hey, who invented the rock opera?
The Who did, the Beatles can eat **** and die for not inventing it.
Who's had their material turned into Broadway productions and movies?
The Who had both(and they were hits) the Beatles had a couple movies, one of which flopped.
And who had the best drummer in the world and the best kick @ss concerts?
The Who of course.

The Beatles had over 5 movies, many which were hits.
Paul M/John L/George H were the best songwriters to ever grace your ungrateful ears.
The Beatles changed pop culture in a way The Who couldn't even begin to imagine.

I'm not denying the fact that they had the first rock opera, good for them. But that doesn't equal anything compared to the revolutionary ideas the Beatles had.

Illmatic 02-09-2005 08:25 PM

The most important argument: The Beatles' music is drug-addled, pompous, oft-unbearable "psychadelic" nonsense.

Also, because of this comment, their rabid fans will skin me alive.
