Sorry if you are right..It just sounds a little wierd to me
Perhaps.. I just cut and pasted right from dictionary.com. It does seem a bit odd, though it's not the only case where a group of smaller individual countries were bound by a higher "country"

Welcome Loyton, there's a 3rd one but i didn't like it and so i never saved it. Could be more lurking about as well.

I'm having both of those printed large highquality for poster of my design... WORD!

A death erection (sometimes referred to as "angel lust") is a post-mortem erection which occurs when a male individual dies vertically or face-down with the cadaver remaining in this position. During life, the pumping of blood by the heart ensures a relatively even distribution around the blood vessels of the human body. Once this mechanism has ended, only the force of gravity acts upon the blood. As with any mass, the blood settles at the lowest point of the body and causes edema or swelling to occur; the discoloration caused by this is called lividity.

If an individual dies vertically such as in a hanging, the blood will settle in the legs and pool at the feet. The pressure will be greatest as the weight of the blood pushes down. This causes the blood vessels and tissues in the feet to engorge to their greatest elastic capacity and hold the greatest volume of blood possible. This effect occurs right up the legs although to a lesser extent than the feet and is also notable at the waist.

The blood which remains in the torso attempts to move to a lower position due to gravity, and as the blood in the waist (which cannot move down due to the legs being full) causes the penis, consisting of erectile tissue, to fill with blood and expand. This is the death erection. As long as the body remains in this position the effect will continue.

ive known for a while, i just forgot until i saw an album sitting out earlier today.

Janeway 03-18-2006 08:25 PM

Wikipedia is horribly disgusting.
I learned about bukkake, death erections, soggy biscuits, urolagnia, coprophilia, and clevland steamers all in 20 minutes.

AND OMFG.
I have officially had it with my sister and her stupid ass friends.
They're sitting there saying, "Oh, man.Keyboards destroyed music. I want to shoot all the keyboard players in the head, shdufhdsuhuhhuhuhuhuI'macocksuckerwholikesacdc." while combined they all have the musical talent of a blind and retarded aardvark. They're trying to defend synthesized guitars as better.
Yeah...it's the same thing in a different fucking position.
I attempted to explain it to them that you've got to listen to the whole song, kind of like classical music, to appreciate it. Then the asswipes started ragging on classical music.
HA!
I'd love to see that fat shit play Bach's Allemande or Courante or Bozza's Improvisation et Caprice. He's still struggling with smoke on the water after three years of bass.

Ugh.
And I'll never get why my sister seems to think my failing music theory makes me a total idiot towards everything musical. I had a better grasp of theory in the 8th grade than she had after 5 years of guitar playing. She's got no clue of what it intails, and no clue of it's purpose.
She sits there and strums out bar chords with no rythm or sense of dynamic and thinks she's the god of all things guitar. Ugh. I hate idiots.

Janeway 03-18-2006 08:53 PM

No. I thought about food and pooping twice today.

Bloodlust 03-18-2006 08:57 PM

Hello guys, I used to post on here a lot but only in pop-punk usually. Well i thought i would introduce myself to the drum forum since i plan on posting on here more now. My name is Gregg, i have playing drums for about a year. I listen to a lot of types of music. Some of my favorite bands are Coheed and Cambria, AFI, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, As I Lay Dying, and The Deftones.

Hey this is my first Stronghold post Wooterific!!! I was scanning a few pages back and saw drumphils bass(which is killer btw)...so I thought I'd share my latest hobby. My lady and I have a bun in the oven so to speak so I have bout 6-1/2 months to get proficeint at an instrument that I can play and listen to through headphones.
Ok so my real name is Matthew and I live in North Carolina bout 10 minutes away for some seriously large mountains and the Blue Ridge parkway. I'm 26 and I am an investor of sorts along with some real estate ventures. This leaves me plenty of time to spend with the love of my life Ulanie.
We are looking to buy a house(Maybe build) here within the next year or so since we've finally found a place in which we really enjoy life and can raise a family. Talking about growing up fast>>> I put a crib together today! after a great three and a half hours of drum practice and 1 hour of some online FPS ownage...crazy...glad we got the 3rd bedroom ey???...talk about premonition.

Hey Matter, haven't seen you around lately. Congrats on the family. 6 1/2 months before your life ends.

If you build a house and somehow have extra money for it, you could always soundproof a room in it for drumming and your other music hobbies. And that bass is a thing of beauty.

Ming-a-Ling 03-18-2006 09:11 PM

Nice guitar Matter!! I just bought one too. And congrats on the offspring on the way.

[Fonya] 03-18-2006 09:16 PM

Matter.........more audio/video, I dont care how busy you are!

Just kidding, congrats on the baby.

Matter 03-18-2006 09:24 PM

^^^Thanx...Ya It may have 7 strings but its a >BASS< not a guitar lol-lol hardy-har-har Durp! J/K.
I def want a full basement, the house I'm renting now has a huge basement and its even plumbed for a bathroom. I will talk to the owner soon and see if its possibly for sale. I could finish drywalling and insulating the basement and make a soundproof/enclosed/raised drum room which would be killer. I do have Roland V-drums but they just aren't the same.

Ming-a-Ling 03-18-2006 09:31 PM

What's that? It's a seven string guitar....nice, mine is only six. It's les paul style, not all fancy like your guitar. It's a nice looking guitar though...

(Sorry, I'm an idiot)

PremierManiac 03-18-2006 09:37 PM

That's a nice audio setup you got there, full rack and everything. Sweet looking bass there too.

Woah. The second person I've ever seen/heard use the word durp... ever.

V-drums are good if you feel like practicing at midnight and don't have a soundproofed room, or live in an apartment/semi. where the neighbors will complain, but they don't have the same feel.

Juicy_Forlorn 03-18-2006 09:47 PM

I would like to play bass. I've always found it more appealing than guitar, although I am better at guitar since I have an old acoustic lying around that I pick up when I am bored. I have an old electric guitar that my dad bought when he was young, then gave to my uncle, who gave it to me, but the guitar is in pretty rough shape.
