I dont see what the rush is to be older. I cant stand it, this year is going way too fast, and i said that in school one day and my one teacher made me more depressed than i usually am by saying "Its only going to go faster as the years roll by." Meh, that teacher was a lesbian bitch.

In the real world most couples who get married have atleast a 3+ year age difference, and I know some that span out to the 10's and 20's... [i]This isn't high school anymore.[/i]

You shouldnt go less then 1, 1.5 years at our age i say. When you in your 20's it is ok to date people 3 or 4 years older.

It's fine once you hit about 18. Because you are on the same social and mental skill level.

But a 14 year old is usually not as mature as a 17 year old... it's just not a well balanced relationship.
If the 14 year old is uncommonly mature and the 17 year old is rather immature... it might be a fair match.
