Ahh ok. Which avatar is better. This Argholsent one or....

This Bad Religion one. I like this one more.

Permanent Solution 07-25-2005 03:21 PM

Against the grain is a classic album, keep that.

ATM 07-25-2005 03:22 PM

Vince, I uploaded you a Mad Season song. If you like that, I can upload more.

Stoic 07-25-2005 03:24 PM

Joe I like this too.

There's nothing better than find a practically unused CD on second hand stores. A while ago I found Manticora's and Symphony X's latest ones in perfect condition (I could smell it in the booklet :p) for 5 euros. Thank god there are stupid people who sell their brand new copies at such stores for 1.50 euro :D

Arucard 07-25-2005 03:25 PM

Heh, i also love that. I got both Alien Ant Farm albums for 1 pound each.

And i get all the BR and Offspring ones cheap too.

i am the robots 07-25-2005 03:26 PM

I likey it

Arucard 07-25-2005 03:27 PM

Whos in your avatar Viking?

Permanent Solution 07-25-2005 03:27 PM

I can't find many BR CDs used, but I have my favorite Offspring albums: Smash, Ignition, s/t and Americana. All less than $7 a piece I believe.

Agent Brown: She got out.
Agent Smith: Doesn't matter.
Agent Brown: The informant is real.
Agent Smith: Yes.
Agent Jones: We have the name of their next target.
Agent Brown: The name is Neo.
Agent Smith: We'll need a search running.
Agent Jones: It has already begun.

Im searching through awesome Matrix quotes. That one is so going at the start of one of my songs heh
I refuse to pay over $10 for a CD, new or used.
I would be rather thrilled to find a CD I wanted for (the equivalent of) $10. I don't have a specific rule, though I rarely buy something for more than £10 unless it's a new release that I really want. But then I don't often buy used CDs either.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-25-2005 03:41 PM

GG on 6k, Joe.

I just cut my own hair. My mom said I had to get it cut before I left for New Orleans. Talk about fucking the system.

Arucard 07-25-2005 03:43 PM

My CD shop sells nearly all new cd's for 12.99, which is really annoying. Ever Emperor album they have costs 12.99, so it takes me longer to build up collections of new cd's.

Then again, the second hand section rules.

Morpheus: I've seen an agent punched through a concrete wall. Men have emptied entire clips at them and hit nothing but air, yet their strength and their speed are still based in a world that is built on rules. Because of that, they will never be as strong or as fast as you can be.

Another random qoute.

Edit :  @ self hair cuttage.

Stoic 07-25-2005 03:43 PM

but you hair wasn't that long, was it?

Rothmans 07-25-2005 03:47 PM

You guys are lucky in Ireland you are lucky to find a cd that is 16.99 most or all albums are 21.99 or 22.99 and import is 28.00.

I know ridiculous and people wonder why we resort to pirating :upset:

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-25-2005 03:49 PM

No, it was just grotesqely unkempt. Now, instead of being 5 inches and unkempt, it's about 3", ratty, and still unkempt.

My original was plan was to go in to town, get her oil changed, and then get a haircut, but my mom didn't give me enough money to get a haircut, so I was like wtf, I'm gonna do it myself!

Arucard 07-25-2005 03:53 PM

I haven't played Matrix all day, thats pretty good for me. In less than a week i have gained 3,000,000 experience and clocked up *cough 30 cough* hours of play. I play that game too much, mainly because of my German clan, who level up so much faster than me.

Bartender 07-25-2005 03:57 PM

I also clocked up thirty hours on a game recently. I only started on Saturday night, though.

I'm doing something I've not done in a long time - browsing bash.org.

Bartender 07-25-2005 04:06 PM

They're quotes people submit from IRC channels. I used to browse it a lot, but haven't in about a year, til now.

i am the robots 07-25-2005 04:15 PM

But I am very tired, and I think I've ran out of things to post about. Really my CD haul was the only thing I had to post about today, but somehow I've manaed to stretch out my posting to cover most of the day :-/
Which one is it? If its Harry Enfield era, then goodnight
It isn't Harry Enfield era.
