Haha, I'm 14. Well.. 15 in a few days.
Happy early birthday!

I turn 16 right before school starts up again  I'll get a head start on driver's ed classes.

blue3 04-08-2006 10:51 PM

Was the learners test easy? I still haven't taken it.
Was the learners test easy? I still haven't taken it.
Wasn't bad so long as you had paid slight attention to the material.

blue3 04-08-2006 11:00 PM

I'll probably take it next week, but I haven't even started reading the book yet.

Sleepy 04-08-2006 11:09 PM

You may want to leaf through once or twice before the test, just to get the important points down.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-08-2006 11:12 PM

I could have had my learners 2 years ago

:upset:

Sleepy 04-08-2006 11:14 PM

I waited until March because I was a lazy-ass. I don't use it too much, though - I'm waiting for the full-blown license.

Steerpike 04-08-2006 11:57 PM

Wel, I found out the whole reason Windows messenger hasn't been working is because the crash that fucked up WMP also obliterated the messenger service.

Now I can't even get the damn thing to start up. I don't want to have to go back to using AIM if I can help it. AOL is run by the 6th sphere of Hell. Any advice?

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2006 12:02 AM

You could just download MSN again I suppose.

Steerpike 04-09-2006 12:08 AM

It won't let me download anything other than the new version, which I can't have unless I first download Service Pack 2 which I staunchly refuse to do. SP2 is a giant collection of redundant security patches that serves absolutely no purpose to me unless I'm networked to the other computers in a single commercial building. In other words, it's only of use to businesses.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-09-2006 12:13 AM

One rule of thumb someone in your position shouldn't be is 'staunch.' If you know you're pretty much getting F'd in the A anyways, (via the computer crash), why not bend a little and download that SP2 deal?

That's just what I'd do, anyways. :p

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2006 12:19 AM

I suppose you could download Trillian or Gaim.

Steerpike 04-09-2006 12:20 AM

Trillian is the one that's compatible with all known IM programs so you're not stuck having to use one or another, right?

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2006 12:21 AM

Yeah, and Gaim does the same thing as Trillian.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-09-2006 12:22 AM

Trillian has a very simple, easy to use interface too. I'd reccomend Trillian over what I previously said now, heh.

blue3 04-09-2006 12:38 AM

I've never used that before.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2006 12:38 AM

I used to use it.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-09-2006 12:40 AM

Yeah, I used to, then I really began to feel little need for AIM because basically 95% of the people I IM reside on MSNm. Now I just use that.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2006 12:44 AM

Yeah, I only had like 5 AIM contacts.

and I'm a sucker for MSN's looks :upset:
Any of you guys seen Lucky Number Slevin yet?
I saw it as soon as it was out over here, a couple of months ago. It was awesome, go see it if you've not already. And if you have, wasn't it awesome?

Anyway, I've been absent the past couple of days by being at a friend's house. He insisted I try World of Warcraft, and shared a case of Jolt cola, both of which are so, so bad for the health.

Mr. Night V2.0 04-09-2006 03:36 AM

Hey everyone, whats up?

Stoic 04-09-2006 03:39 AM

I've just woken up and I'm eating some strawberries.

So true. Plus, SP2 gives major crash and torturing lag to old PCs.

the2stranger 04-09-2006 03:48 AM

want strawberry's too :(
I haven't had any food so far.

I will be having Chinese in a bit though, going out for diner and to the movies with my G/F.
Good times.
But I really should hit the showers now, so later all

Stoic 04-09-2006 03:50 AM

*sigh* good times indeed Petey..

Mr. Night V2.0 04-09-2006 04:01 AM

I need a shower.

Riva 04-09-2006 04:13 AM

I don't.

I finished work just a bit ago though, and it was really busy.

An order for 5 trawlers (that's a type of fishing boat, by the way) went through, so I had to scan and pack it all into boxes. 10 trolleys worth, it came to $3500. :-/

Mr. Night V2.0 04-09-2006 04:20 AM

What do you for a job?

Riva 04-09-2006 04:24 AM

I'm a pseudo-Supervisor at a supermarket.

Jev 04-09-2006 05:18 AM

My mate gave me a drink last night that was 6 months out of date. The wanker.

I was hoping I'd die or something and he'd get blamed.
