Never thought I'd ever like Megadeth. The vocals/lyrics are still irritating to an extent, it's a good thing the opening track makes up for all that.

oh you lie. [I]In Absentia[/I] is sweet.

I think In Absentia is pretty meh, their earlier stuff actually has some personality and more prog in place of their present lame brand of modern rock.

Midlake - Milkmaid Grand Army EP

Midlake rule and, while this isn't quite up to par with their full releases, this EP is pretty good. It's a lot more lo-fi than their debut.

I know what you mean. I only listen to them on very monotonous days, since they're pretty monotonous. Yeah I get off on that.

Anybody heard the new arcade fire album yet? I got a downloaded copy and was a little disappointed.
