I remember learning the bass intro cause it was cool but the song was pretty bad.

NewKindofArmy03 09-01-2005 10:07 PM

On the re-runs of the VMAs, did they edit out the beef with G-Unit and all? Because I was watching the 50 cent performance today and I thought afterwards he calls out a bunch of people. It went right to a commercial though.

_Tyler 09-01-2005 10:07 PM

Let Go is pretty good.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-01-2005 10:09 PM

Tyler, download Blood And Thunger and March of The Fire Ants

NewKindofArmy03 09-01-2005 10:10 PM

THIS Tuesday September 6th

Blackpool Lights (ex - Get Up kids)
Lux Courageous (Triple Crown Records)
Marigold (first show in 3 months, Textbook Music)
Outsmarting Simon (Triple Crown Records)

I'd probably try to see Marigold if this wasn't the 1st day of school.

RouteOne 09-01-2005 10:17 PM

Ha, my friends are coming over tomarrow, we built a potato cannon. It will shoot taters up to 300 yards.

Yo' mailboxes ain't safe niggas.
You people need to listen to Midtown more often. First album is Gold! Second is good, third is indie-ish and I haven't listened to a whole lot.
Gabe dedicated a song to me at both the shows they played in NYC with Fall Out Boy on 12/26/04 because I was going nuts and wearing a Bane tshirt.

NewKindofArmy03 09-01-2005 10:23 PM

Why have I been sleeping on Cast Aside? This band rules so much.

Go man.

Also about the 50 thing, he called out Fat Joe in the end but they did edit it out.

NewKindofArmy03 09-01-2005 10:27 PM

I'm not going first day of school unless it was an amazing show.

I hear Kanye was called out too. But Fat Joe said something first like "thanks to g-unit for all the security."

40 oz 2 freedom 09-01-2005 10:29 PM

Pfffft, 50 hasn't got SHIIIIT on Kanye, seriously. I can't even believe he has the nerve to call out people with actual talent.

NewKindofArmy03 09-01-2005 10:30 PM

Despite how much I said 50 sucked in the past, I like some of his songs.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-01-2005 10:31 PM

He has ZERO talent.

NewKindofArmy03 09-01-2005 10:34 PM

I know, a couple songs are catchy though.

Same with the Mike Jones song Back Then, I always have that song in my head.

cbmartinez 09-01-2005 10:37 PM

50 is hilarious. I don't think he called out Kanye. Game's a faggot though, so is Bow Wow.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-01-2005 10:38 PM

Bow Wow got raped.

NewKindofArmy03 09-01-2005 10:39 PM

Haha, Bow Wow. I haven't heard anything lately, but he sucked.

cbmartinez 09-01-2005 10:39 PM

Yeah, he thinks he's tough and he's like 13. He's a joke.

RouteOne 09-01-2005 10:41 PM

I hate 50 cent with undying hatred.

***semi-emo threat***

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-01-2005 10:58 PM

My friend's mom is convinced 50 Cent is gay. Then once my mom was talking about Snoop Dog and she called him Scooby Doo. Then she went on saying he is a perverted drug addicted mudurer. Snoop Dog represents my city, the LBC!

You have gotta post some pics of the aftermath
Then once my mom was talking about Snoop Dog and she called him Scooby Doo.
I laughed so hard at the thought of this

NewKindofArmy03 09-02-2005 12:02 AM

Reiner is right, this Midtown album is pretty good. Nothing amazing, just solid pop-punk.

_Tyler 09-02-2005 12:05 AM

so I like Taking Back Sunday...

NewKindofArmy03 09-02-2005 12:09 AM

Now them i'll never like. Even though I liked 2 songs in 7th grade.

AndreTheHyena 09-02-2005 12:11 AM

I liked the first All-American Rejects album. "Paper Heart" is my jam.

cbmartinez 09-02-2005 12:12 AM

Bob, hop back in the chat room.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-02-2005 12:17 AM

I'm gonna start writing a review for the new From Autumn To Ashes Cd.

I downloaded that yesterday, and really enjoyed it. It had a couple tracks that had next to no screaming in them, but they were actually pretty cool.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-02-2005 12:22 AM

I just got it today.

Mute Print 09-02-2005 12:23 AM
Please don't play with me

Be with me, please I beseech you...

Reading interviews with those dudes made me like them a whole lot more, they have excellent taste in music and are fully aware of their "shitty pop band", as they themselves put it.

And These Enzymes, their hardcore side project, is pretty good.

cbmartinez 09-02-2005 12:24 AM

Ugh, FATA.

Mute Print 09-02-2005 12:25 AM
Ugh, FATA.
 I kind of expected something like that.

I didn't think you liked them much (if at all).

AndreTheHyena 09-02-2005 12:32 AM

I've heard one song from them and it sucked.

However, there was a babe working at the Hot Topic (aren't there always?) who liked them, and I got a free FATA sticker with my issue of AMP, so I gave it to her in return for...a big smile. But sometimes those are the things that matter.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-02-2005 12:33 AM
What did you think of it?
After the first listen I wasn't into it. But then I listened to it again and I liked it. Its pretty good.

Fo drizzle my nizzle.
