What kind of headphones are you getting Goran? I need new buds 'cause I find listening to music with my headphones hurts my temples/ears after a period of time.

I'm getting a pair of earsonics sm3 v2's, got a really good paying job this summer and figured I'd buy a pair that will last forever (replaceable cable!).

Really? When I tried them it sounded pretty decent. Granted it was only for a minute or two. Maybe my hearing is off, I do go to a lot of concerts...

I've been trying to get equipment that is pretty neutral without destroying my bank account. I have a hardware equalizer (with a microphone) so my speakers are almost totally neutral and my headphones at home are pretty neutral. these new in-ears are supposedly really neutral so we'll see

Ah well I [I]did[/I] try them listening to [I]Watch the Throne[/I] so that's probably why they sounded really good to me.

Now with the other genres I dig, not sure how it would translate.

if you want in-ears, which block out a lot of sound, you can get those ones I got. They sound really good and are like $80

they're not terrible but most of the value comes from the branding

as with anything with that kind of branding

will never go back to IEM's, they get far too uncomfortable after a while.

I know with some things the price is worth the product, I just worry about paying all this money for shitty quality, you know? So I mostly stick with Panasonic, Sony, things of that nature.

haven't tried a lot of different headphones but they would appear to be good value for money, I know my pair are great

my friend has them and I have heard a lot of headphones and can attest that they are great
