Holy crap  If I heard that song blasted at top volume, I'd probably swerve off the road.
I figured it would come up eventually. I also had Panasonic Youth ("We wrote these plans..!") and Van Damsel ("SURPRISE! IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THOUGHT") in the mix somewhere, so you never quite know :(

Looks like Bobobobo Bobobo.

Damn it, I was just minutes away from ruling, there.

xizoesira 01-30-2006 02:51 AM

See, I didn't know anyone else outside of Japan was aware of Bobobobo. Something new every day.

Zmev 01-30-2006 02:26 PM

Bartender for honorable mention

So what do you say guys, is it worth it to get tickets to see Stereolab?

br3ad_man 01-30-2006 03:37 PM

Depends how much they are I guess, but without that knowledge, I would say yes.

Hm, I just noticed my weekly artist chart hasn't updated yet.

xizoesira 01-30-2006 06:18 PM

Seems like a lot of people haven't gotten the update yet.
Depends how much they are I guess, but without that knowledge, I would say yes.
$30, which is no problem for me. The thing is though, I enjoy nodding along to Stereolab in my room or in my car, but I'm just not sure if it's something I'd love in concert. (Unless someone can verify that they're awesome live.)

There's been rumors on the internets that Lou Reed, Sufjan Stevens, and David Bowie (maybe) were all in attendance at the Colin Meloy show I was at. The Reed appearance actually makes sense and seems valid, but why the fuck couldn't I have spotted him...

YDload 01-30-2006 09:25 PM

Maybe they were watching from backstage, perhaps? Hmm?

BillCosby 01-30-2006 09:32 PM

This only further contributes to my theory that Lou Reed is, in fact, invisible.

If I saw all those three guys at a Decemberists show, I do believe I could die a happy boy.

el doctor 01-30-2006 09:52 PM

And you know, you'd think that among a crowd of thick rimmed glasses indie kids Lou Reed would stick out like a sore thumb.
