People in the LV mispronounce a lot of stuff, and my mom's from Tamaqua so people look at me weirdly for Tamaquaisms I've picked up, but it's like, dude, at least I don't call creeks "cricks."

But the mispronunciations aren't even accented, it's just blatantly replacing one vowel with another.
