that sounds like a pretty fair dichotomy. there are those civilians that blow things up for extreme reasons whatever that may be but usually stemming from hate or insanity. and then there are civilians those that dont blow up anything at all.

This reminds me of a KKK meeting that was at Ole Miss (I believe) college when my college's football team went over to play football against theirs. 10 KKK members showed up, the "rally" lasted about 10 minutes based on the fact 200-300 protesters showed up and surrounded them.

i dont understand what youre getting at at all.

They're killing "the infidels" so that Muhammad will come down and purify the earth or something like that. He's very well educated and very popular with the voting age in Iran, he knows exactly what to do and what to say to win. The moderate in the Islamic world have already accepted the two state system between Israel and Palestine. A serious approach to such an extreme position as actively seeking the destruction of Israel would cost Iran on the world stage and it needs what it can get. Why would Ahmadinejad seek to give weapons to Al Qaeda as the form of Islam that Al Qaeda wishes to impose would be much stricter than what the semi-secular-modern Iran has had.

I'm not saying oh man Iran is great and I would love to live there; what I'm saying is that there is a carefully manufactured political identity over there which historically hedges on several notes: 1) the Ayatollah, 2) the clerics beneath 3) what the young people want. Considering now that the average level of education in Iran is increasing, progressivism and political moderation will begin to take the forefront, as shown by the protests this summer.

Yeah because that's a step in the direction that we want. I'm not for sure, but I think going from total obliteration to settling for them to leave is a big deal. Take the fact that Russia and China do not want anyone disturbing the trade community in the region, the fact that Israel has biological, chemical, and nuclear capabilities, and Iran would be a pariah to some major players in the middle east, Iran doesn't pose a threat to anyone.

On to more vital things to the existence of man. So my parents old Sony Vaio wont read my Windows XP disk, only wants to read the stupid Vaio reformat utility disks. This is a mystery to me simply because I have a newer, and older, Sony Vaio (one a desktop and one a laptop) which aren't this picky.

Though I found out it'll read a HDD erase utility, so hopefully the f[size=2]u[/size]cker will reformat using the Windows XP SP3 disk after I wipe the HDD. I don't want to install Windows XP with x-amount of bloat-ware and SP1.

I can't say I'd have known they were West Indies if not told. There are the crazy lot of racists out there, but predominantly what I see now a days are people trying to find racism in everything they see. This is an example of that.

When I first saw the preview for L4D2 I called it "Left 4 Dead 2: New Orleans." Personally, my friends in Baton Rouge (which include white, black, and latino decent) all found it funny.
