Animal is the hands down worst song on that cd.
I like Ocean |
I had no interest in seeing Against Me! again, but I just found out that World/Inferno will be with them when they come to my hometown, so I'm going.
And I mean what the hell, I've always had fun a against me shows, so why not? |
I saw them a month ago and it was really fun, you'll probably enjoy yourself
I'm seeing them this Monday in Vienna. Hopefully they play old stuff...
Don't get your hopes too high. They didn't when I saw them last monday.
As far as I can recall they played Pint Og Guinness, Walking Is Still Honest and We Laugh At Danger as the only RAR songs. Then they played TSR, Sink Florida Sink and I'm pretty postive that they played Rice And Bread And Cliche Guevarra too. The rest was New Wave and Clarity stuff, but it was still a good concert. Up The Cuts was good live. |
Really, New Wave songs sound pretty good live, except Borne of the FM Waves kinda kills the mood for a bit. Obviously there will be lots of NW, it's the NW tour. I've seen 6 RAR songs live before.
I do have to say that the New Wave songs are a lot better live. But I disagree with you saying Borne kills the mood, if anything, The Ocean kills it.
Borne On The FM Waves Of The Heart is a way better song than both Animal and The Ocean.
Ocean>FM waves>animal
animal is worse than most popular music i like that under my umbrella song bettere than animal dude |
Ocean>FM waves>animal
animal is worse than most popular music i like that under my umbrella song bettere than animal dude
Well most popular music happens to be a lot better than most punk going around right now so I mean ella ella ella ay ay ay under my umbrella PS: That song hasn't been hot for like three months now |
Hehe, I don't even think that Umbrealla song is that bad.
I hate that bit where she just randomly starts going "ella ella ella ay ay ay ella ella" and continues on that path for about 4 more minutes.
No clouds in my storrrm
it is very bareable for what it is for some reason...
You guys are all homos "Oh wow a song that's on the radio that's good isn't that a paradox"
it is.
I hate every post Kevin makes.
i like the covers of that song.
 I went to vote in the municipal election today and had my mp3 player on random.
As I was walking to the booth with the ballots in my hand, "Baby I'm An Anarchist" started playing. I lol'd a bit. |
I don't understand why some anarchists don't wanna vote.
I respect that they wish for a different society with more democracy and all that, but why not vote anyways? |
Because voting enables the current government and anarchists hate things that have to do with government
ballot scratch
Because voting enables the current government and anarchists hate things that have to do with government
Yeah I see, but if I were and anarchist, I would much rather vote for a democratic socialist than a liberal for instance. By not voting at all you risk that the society gets even worse. |
Because they don't want to become a part of the system. Smash the state.
Yeah I see, but if I were and anarchist, I would much rather vote for a democratic socialist than a liberal for instance. By not voting at all you risk that the society gets even worse.
False, you would much rather vote for an anarchist or set a politician on fire than vote. |
False. I consider myself an anarchist to an extent, and I still vote. My own personal policies would not benefit the nation as a whole, so I don't mind voting for a "lesser of two evils" candidate with the idea of benefitting the greater good, most of whom will never know, understand, or care for the independent ideologies that I espouse.
Andrew fails to mention he himself does not care to shave, bathe, or trim his pubes.
I thought that was all implied in the the word anarchist
You know what's a joke? Compulsory voting.

That was what I meant. I do understand though, that if you live in America and only have two different parties to vote for, the situation is a little bit different. |
i dunno, in the states there is hardly a 'lesser' evil. but yea, i think i would still vote.
thats the problem, in America you have the republicans who are hardcore bomb the hell out of everyone, screw gays (pun?), america is the best. then you got your democrats who are hardcore left and try to help everyone and they dont see that to do all there social betterment crap actually hurts people more, though higher taxes, less money going around to things that are actually important.

I might go see them on the 15th, but it's in rhode island and i'm in new hampshire. thats a pretty long drive, but for against me, i think its worth it.

Uh oh Screename conflict! |
The concert in Vienna was epic.
The set list was awesome. They played 7 or 8 old songs. The cool part though, was that my friend and I met Andrew before their set. We talked with him a bit and told him how we were on a study abroad foreign exchange program. We just continued our small talk and about an hour later they came on stage to play. About 5 songs in they started playing Americans Abroad and I was up front right at the middle of the stage. When it got to the "We're Americans abroad! We're Americans abroad!" part Andrew smiled and pointed at me and my friend and gave us a wink. Pretty f'ucking sweet. |
so i finally discovered how to properly catalogue my music and fix the file names and i'm going through my against me stuff. is RAR all electric? or mostly? cause i know a lot of the songs appear on more than one record and from what i've heard i think the electric ones are all on RAR correct?
all electric except jordans first choice, 8 full hours of sleep "I still love you julie "which also appears on crime.
"jordans first choice" and "8 full hours of sleep" are acoustic i think. ether that or they may just be electric with out distortion. |
