That's not really stealing the show then is it?

Stealing the show is when Motion City Soundtrack open for Rufio or the Suburban Legends open for Reel Big Fish.
I meant stole the show in my and my friends' oppinions.

Henrik 10-09-2006 01:53 PM

I wondered:
Back when Streetlight got robbed it was possible to donate some money if fans wanted to help them out. Did any of you did that?
They promised that they would send something special out to everyone who did so... If any of you did, did you get anything then?

POINTLESS5448 10-09-2006 04:45 PM

are they still touring? i always ****ing miss them when they come down here. i suck at life.

Henrik 10-10-2006 09:45 AM

EDIT: Yes they do. They've just put out some new dates on their site.

comptonassrobert 10-26-2006 12:19 AM

Anybody catch them on the tour yet?
I got to meet and hangout with the whole band after the show last time I saw them with the Aquabats and I just got my tickets to see them with Reel Big Fish november 3rd in Sacramento. Anybody know RBF or SM's setlist?

pedro durruti 10-26-2006 12:46 AM

It's probably three-four songs from Everything Goes Numb, a BOTAR song here or there, and the rest Keasby.

TAND 10-26-2006 04:18 PM

I'd say a few new songs.

Liebensaft 10-26-2006 04:44 PM

I'm going on November 25.

tappenzee 10-27-2006 07:57 PM

So apparently it's gonna be a new Streetlight album BEFORE the BOTAR album comes out.

Either way, I really don't care, I wanna hear some new sh*t

AIRIC 10-27-2006 09:46 PM

Same. Im excited eithe rway.

Jessizzle 10-28-2006 08:01 AM

So.....are the comming back to canada. they better hold up to their promise and not play toronto on a school night.

Penaltyplaybass 10-29-2006 09:13 PM

i wish streetlight had headlined that tour, rather than RBF

Liebensaft 10-30-2006 10:47 PM

Streetlight Manifesto is superior to RBF in every aspect excpet for popularity, and so, unfortunately, they play second to last.
[I]10.27.06

soooooo..... we are playing jersey again! Once again we will be playing the starland ballroom on december 3rd, this time for the light of day benefit, a particularly awesome organization. all proceeds from ticket sales will go towards parkinsons and ALS research. so far, as far as we know, it's just us, but other bands are to be announced soon, as well as some special guests. also, this will be our last (and first in a long while) headlining show for some time, as we are offically and definately not playing any more shows or doing any more tours until the new record is complete. as for that, we are a good chunk into the recording process and we're all very very very psyched for this one to be released. once again, this will be our last show for quite some time (knowing how long it takes us to record/mix ;-) so if you'd like to see us live and support a great cause this is your one chance for a few months. thanks and see you all soon...

I'm glad they stop touring for a while, they aren't comming to Europe anyways :smoke:

Hahaha, you heartless bastard.

Catchthe22 11-01-2006 07:46 PM

sweboy 11-01-2006 08:14 PM

We got no love in Scandinavia. :upset: Just snow.

TAND 11-01-2006 10:21 PM

Liebensaft 11-01-2006 11:25 PM

comptonassrobert 11-02-2006 02:24 AM

Sad but true. I did write them a letter once though :thumb:

The only scene people from outside of the world enjoy from Scandinavia is all that stupid Black and Death Metal. I hate those idiots.

AIRIC 11-02-2006 04:11 PM

I love Anti-Cimex

Kithkin 11-04-2006 05:21 PM

Woo, I'm going to be in Pittsburg over thanksgiving while SM, Suburban Legends, Westbound Train and Reel Big Fish play.

TAND 11-04-2006 06:01 PM

Lucky...

comptonassrobert 11-05-2006 01:22 PM

We got to see and meet Streetlight Manifesto and Reel Big Fish on the 3rd in Orangevale, Sac. We gave Tomas Kalnoky the bands' demo and he said he'd check us out =O

http://www.myspace.com/belleviewmob the first two songs is what we gave him. I hope he gives us an email or something, even if it's just to say he didn't bother listening to it haha.

Henrik 11-06-2006 12:42 PM

Don't you think he gets that all the time?

Or maybe not since The Risc Group itself doesn't release anything for other bands yet.

Liebensaft 11-06-2006 01:14 PM

Do they sell BOTAR stuff at their shows?

Jessizzle 11-06-2006 01:19 PM

yes.

they're like... BUY BOTARS EP.. and im like no way i tottally already downloaded it.. then the trumpet player gave me a high five.

Liebensaft 11-06-2006 01:25 PM

What about shirts? I wanted one for awhile, but the RISC store is not working.

Jessizzle 11-06-2006 01:31 PM

Yeah, they have like everything. ( shirts, sweaters, pins, stickers, posters etc..)
I have a shirt, they also have sweet sweaters. I wanted a sweater but i didnt bring enough money. i forget how much it is.. probly around 30-50$...
