Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-02-2006 12:32 PM

My music is already there, I'm just having trouble adding my voice clips.

AZNMan#2 08-02-2006 12:32 PM

I got it downloaded now.

It's free too. Cool.

What's the problem Chels?

edit: oic

Are you copying and pasting them in?

Jessizzle 08-02-2006 12:33 PM
Jess, you look JUST like a friend of mine.

Boy short underwear?

JUSTIN, could you help me? Audacity is ****ing up my podcast.
yeeah
and thats creepy

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-02-2006 12:33 PM

Yeah, but it keeps pasting in the same audio track.

It seems as though I can't de-select somthing. =\

Jess: Psh, boy short underwear is sexay.

But bikini's ftw.

So you're copying a different one each time, but it pastes the wrong one?

Black Ink 08-02-2006 12:35 PM

What do you mean trouble adding it? You should be able to open them up and then drag them between tracks.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-02-2006 12:35 PM

No.

It's pasting the right one, but I can't make it so it has it's own track.

Jessizzle 08-02-2006 12:37 PM

bottlerocket 08-02-2006 12:37 PM

Jess, you want a bass? What kind? And why?

That's cool. Girl bass players are hot. I dig any girl that can play guitar, piano, bass, sing, etc. A girl that knows music is the way to my heart. My last ex-girlfriend played guitar and piano and we'd jam to piano rock all the time (SoCo style...I'd play guitar or bass and she'd do piano and we'd sing together. It was adorable, really. :().

ooooh, ok. Are your voice tracks saved as different files? Then you have to go to File>Open>tracklocation and it should make it its own track.

Edit* Project>import audio>tracklocation should make it easier actually.

and im not sure what kind. I really like my friends fender squire.

AZNMan#2 08-02-2006 12:41 PM

That's weird usually if you just click elswhere on the page, it would un-select it. You mean it's still highlighted?

bottlerocket 08-02-2006 12:42 PM

Jess: You can play bass, but can you play bass? :p

EWWWW STAY AWAY FROM SQUIER! What kind of tone do you want and what's your budget?

Don't get a squier. Fender is a good brand, but not a squier.

I want to buy one to get better of course.
I mostly use bass to get the feel for trumpet actually. In music class, i was terrbile at trumpet, so i would sit down and teach myself the songs on bass, then learn it on trumpet.

I own Neg 900$

masada 08-02-2006 12:45 PM

learn zanzithophone or perhaps flugelhorn

now those are some rockin instruments

Chilly-Bean-Bop 08-02-2006 12:46 PM
That's weird usually if you just click elswhere on the page, it would un-select it. You mean it's still highlighted?
Yeah, still highlighted. I tried clicking somewhere else. Didn't work.

bottlerocket 08-02-2006 12:48 PM

Well, look into beginner Yamahas and Ibanez. Stay away from Squiers.

I love yamahas, nice and cheap. My accoustic guitar is a yamaha

I also dislike Ibanez, i always found the pickups were too high,

masada 08-02-2006 12:49 PM

i played a squier bass with 3 year old strings and i did fine

Black Ink 08-02-2006 12:50 PM

How did you make your voice tracks in the first place, using the mic in audacity? Also, is all your voice track on one track or on several. If you didn't use audacity for the voice track then what did you save them as, .wavs or .mp3?

And I'm gussing all your songs are one after the other on one track?

cobert 08-02-2006 12:51 PM

I have some really, really piece of shit guitar my drummer gave me because we needed a guitarist. It hasnt been restringed since he bought it about a year and a half ago. I need to buy a guitar.

I used Sound Recorder, several voice tracks, saved as .wav, and my songs have not been mixed yet, they are still several different tracks.

AZNMan#2 08-02-2006 12:55 PM

They need to make instruments cheaper.

I want a Bass, acoustic, and a drum kit.

In that order.

I have no money though. :(

Yamahas are great, yeah.

Pickups too high? As in tone-wise or physically? You can lower the pickups, you know. :p

masada 08-02-2006 12:56 PM

@azn

nah people just need stop having standards when it comes to instruments

Holy shit. The day I decide to watch Hollyoaks because nothing else is on, a rapist escapes from hospital after getting his arse kicked.

But then the quality of the sound produced becomes crap. :(

Jess:Guitars or basses?

The guitars are alright, but Gibson basses look really funky. Don't like the style at all. :-\

masada 08-02-2006 12:59 PM

see there's this awesome thing called making do with what yuo have

Jessizzle 08-02-2006 12:59 PM

Guitars

masada 08-02-2006 01:00 PM

I do right now. I'm kinda ampless so I have to go through my pedal to the stereo.

I'd really like a nice bass though. Too bad I don't have $700 to spend atm.

Jess: oic, yeah there are some decent ones. Gibson guitars are always nice, but they're way overpriced.

Nick: orly?

Jessizzle 08-02-2006 01:05 PM
