Something about putting down 100 bucks for a plank with wheels doesn't really seem too appealing to me...
I was only in 8th grade, I didn't know any better. :upset:

THPS 2 was my favorite. I think it had the best levels and soundtrack.

i am the robots 09-02-2005 09:58 PM

1 had a better soundtrack, Suicidal Tendencies and the Dead Kennedeys were on it.

magicbus 09-02-2005 10:16 PM

But number 2 had Public Enemy

Does anybody have the soundtracks on their computer?

RiceMonster 09-02-2005 10:25 PM

I've known this for a while, and I don't post out of R&M regularly.

I need Audacity help.

This morning, I got Audacity, and I was putting down tracks and recording songs.

You know how when you record your first track, and then you can record your second track while listening to the first track so it's easier?

It's not doing that anymore. :(

Help?

Edit: Oh and it changed my settings so it wasn't recording in 16 KB but 32 kb

2nd edit: Disregard this post everything was in Properties.

God, I'm dumb.

To make this post have a meaning, Audacity is a great program.

Sup kiddos.

So, my entire house got roaring stinking drunk by 5:00 in the afternoon and sat around in a circle with 15 other guys (and 1 girl) and watched "Chappelle's Show." I watched too, but I wasn't drunk.

They did it because today was "National Day Day." What is "Day?" Well, they decided "Day" was inherently masculine, so they came up with a wide range of criteria. "Day" could be not shaving. "Day" could be leaving the "Day" party to have sex with a girl--but then come back afterwards. "Day" could be masturbating and not getting caught. And of course, "Day" is taking the cake that we all bought and throwing it at one another.

Good times. It was a hell of a thing to observe, let me tell you. :p

Special Brew 09-03-2005 04:13 AM

Day is the shortened version of my name that my family calls me, heh.
I was in one of those moods where I needed to hear the first few tracks from their second album. The opener to truANT has a pretty fun drum intro, heh. They're really not that horrible of a band, I don't think, they just got blasted for their Michael Jackson cover. Was it deserved? Oh, sure. But they do have other singles that are pretty solid rock songs. To me, anyway.
Dude, AAF are a great band, with alot of musical talent. Their new album is going to be great.

So, last night was hilarious. Went out, had a few drinks and then proceeded to Echoes for rock night. I get in, go straight to the Metal room and start moshing out with these 'goth' guys i know to some Maiden and Metallica, and then all the nu-metal comes on so i start drinking more. Then, i get them to put on Unholy Confessions and the emo crew come in, and start a bloody hardcore pit in this club! Of course, we killed them, but most of them got thrown out by the bouncers at that point.

I left at about 2am, which is early for me, and nearly got into alot of trouble for jumping on a milk float and dancing, but my little brother and his mate saved me.

Unfortunately it's not 100% accurate because I spend a lot of my summer at my cottage, where I have no internet.

Did you download the plug in on your home computer? Because you didn't have it there before. :)

http://www.last.fm/user/Superpeer/

Bartender 09-03-2005 09:07 AM

No, I haven't downloaded the plug-in here yet. I may do so soon. I still don't see why it hasn't updated in so long, though.

I don't think it updates unless you start playing songs again, that's what mine did anyway.

Lord Abortion 09-03-2005 09:08 AM

so yeah, I forgive your AAF Jom, 'cause you're awesome.

anyway, if any of you guys like cannibal corpse I'm uploading a crapload in the YSI thread so I'll link you in here.

"Wang" is my new favourite word, and my Penny arcade obsession is growing

Neurotoxin 09-03-2005 09:11 AM

I was about to write "I grew out of my wang stage a while ago", but that just didn't sound right.

Anyways, my friends and I used to say that word all of the time about two years ago.

Bartender 09-03-2005 09:16 AM
I don't think it updates unless you start playing songs again, that's what mine did anyway.
Possibly. I did play some stuff on my computer down at University after the 28th before I came home, though.

so, have some Cannibal Corpse folks...

Please check out his Deadworld comic
it's excellent Zombie-awesomeness

Shadows 09-03-2005 09:22 AM

Mmmmm...I like Cannibal Corpse. Fisher's a better vocalist but the songwriting was a little more unique during the Barnes era. Bloodthirst is probably my favorite album.

Arrakakaka 09-03-2005 09:23 AM

Whoa, that's some sweet stuff.

I can't stop listening to "Poison Eggs" from Isis.

Yeah, I agree, although I prefer Gallery of suicide and gore obsessed

although the songwriting on the bleeding is amazing, Barnes ruins stripped, raped and strangled, arguably the finest song they have ever written.

George's live version is so much better

I love Stripped Raped and Strangled. The Bleeding had some great, memorable songs on it but Barnes' voice definitely wasn't the greatest back then, nor is it now. Gore Obsessed was great too, and I'd love to hear their live album.

Bartender 09-03-2005 09:34 AM

Downloaded the plug-in now, and for the first time in a long time I have recently played tracks.

As for Cannibal Corpse, Gallery of Suicide is a good song.

I'll upload the thing for you, it'll have to be in two bits given the 18 tracks but if you stay around for a while I'll upload it.

Just from the tracklisting, I'm going to guess this is Cannibal Corpse.

Last night was the first football game of the year. It blew. I left when it got to 40-0 in favor of the other team. :upset:

Shadows 09-03-2005 10:11 AM

I've been listening to grind lately. Mutilated has some very disgusting themes too. The album cover of Devirginated Gential Pulp alone is enough to kill any sexual urges you may be feeling. :( Very grotesque, but some kickass goregrind.

My senior year of high school, we got mercied three times, yet we wound up going 4-5. Our worst defeat was 57-0, I think, against the team that would go on to take the state title in the division.

Just goes to show you the disparity of the division I played in, heh.

Bartender 09-03-2005 10:21 AM

Mercied?
